“Walked by on the way to another place and made a mental note to try it on the same trip. Had a great brown ale and my wife and I both had the fried chicken sandwich. “It’s like a full dinner,” said my wife. The fries with it were the best we’ve had on this trip to Montreal. The chicken was very tasty. Wanted to try other places on other days, but I’d absolutely come back here. The table was nice, and the service was terrific.“

“These were certainly isolated cases, but on 3 occasions (2x in a row), our $2 on the edge of the pool table was stolen from us by troublemakers who were most likely only looking for trouble. Otherwise the staff is very endearing, willing, patient and smiling and the meetings are good.“

“Good spot for casual drinks and tacos. The tandoori chicken taco was delicious, and the shrimp taco was solid too. The spicy margarita was a bit too intense—go classic if you're not into heat. Atmosphere was decent, service friendly, and prices fair.

“I was not disappointed. I woke up one Saturday and was in the mood to go get a nice breakfast. The parking lot was packed and I was worried there was going to be a long wait. However, when we went in we were seated within minutes, and had an excellent breakfast. I was very pleased and look forward to coming back.“

“Everything is fine, but the staff has to agree on a playlist instead of changing songs all the time ? I understand that they work for a long time and that it's nice to be able to choose what to work on. But in the meantime, customers are entitled to songs that are interrupted and skipped.

“I went to this restaurant for lunch this weekend. It was the first time and I liked it, my girlfriend did too.
A lunch with potatoes that aren't fried in the fryer is a big plus for me. I noticed that the bacon was fresh cooked on the griddle rather than bacon cooked in the oven and then reheated. In the field, it's called cooked to order and that's the best in kitchen service.
It requires more work for the chef but it tastes much better for the customer. The service was perfect. We didn't lack anything.“

“I was pleasantly surprised especially after reading some of the reviews. There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. The calamari was excellent, the veal limone delicious and the two who ordered the flank steak found it very good. The service was fast and courteous. I would go back.
Parking: Several places available. Don't forget to ask for a token to exit.“

“I've been visiting Sir Winston's since 2004 and have never had any issues. The basement bar and staff were great in their time. The pub staff are great and helpful. They're kind and accommodating. The vibe is very nice, with music playing and patrons chatting, the terrace overlooks Cresent Street, and the food was very good. I opted for a chicken Ceasars salad and was not disappointed at all. I recommend this spot for anyone visiting the city. I will always go back, even though I am no longer a resident.
Parking: It's best to park in a lot and walk to Cresent street as it can be hard to find parking on Cresent or even St. Catherine.
Kid-friendliness: No, not kid friendly. This is aimed at an adult crowd.

“Claudio is super welcoming and staff are friendly! The smash burger is amazing and the price is great! They have big tvs for games. Interior decor could be nicer, but there is a nice charm to the place. Def. Recommend for a coffee and quick bite to eat!“
