“We recently visited this newly opened Turkish restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious and very high quality. We ordered the mixed kebab, and the meat was very tender and flavorful. The chicken was perfectly cooked as well.
After our meal, we had baklava and Turkish tea, which were both amazing and the perfect way to finish the meal.
We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to everyone!“

“I absolutely love Efes Pastry! It was my first visit, and I was impressed by their delicious pastries. We went yesterday near to closing time, and even though it was his very first day, the gentleman working there welcomed us so warmly and provided excellent service.

We picked up pistachio baklava, kanafeh, and another sweet and honestly, I couldn’t even wait to get home. I finished one right in the car! Everything was so fresh, rich in flavor, and beautifully prepared.

“I get stuck in the series "The Magnificent Century", admiring the beauty and richness of the oriental interiors and outfits reproduced on the screen. And, as it usually happens, now I pay attention to everything Turkish, oriental. And if I am still far from the hospitable hotels of Turkey, then you can find a Turkish restaurant in Montreal. At one time, I really loved restaurants. I visited them so often that at some point I stopped feeling pleasure from it. Now I go regularly, but much less often, on special occasions, or when I really want to go to a specific place, like Gunaydin restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is exactly like in the video 👇👇👇👇 Sofas, patterns. Very beautiful, atmospheric. Eastern music is playing, it has a slightly different tempo, it seems to slow down perception a little, relaxes. Oh, Gunaydin Restaurant for me is a restaurant where you don't want to rush. A great atmosphere. Which is complemented by balanced service. Here they greet you with calm joy, as if you were waiting. But they don't pester you with questions. All the waiters are calm and well-disposed. The choice of dishes here is truly Turkish, no Caesars with shrimp or Greek salads. Only "food from the Sultan's chambers". They brought Turkish tea. It was the first time I saw such beauty. As for tea, I can say with confidence that few places can prepare it so deliciously. It is aromatic, rich. So delicious that this is a reason to return to the establishment. And not the only one. All the dishes in the restaurant, as you may have already noticed, have an authentic, rich design. Almost antiques. This is how our dinner at the restaurant ended, I left satisfied, which I had not been for a long time from the restaurant food and atmosphere. “They consistently serve delicious and well-prepared food. Today, we had a fantastic mix of 3 skewers of kebab and crispy lahmacun. They even added a small portion of döner as a treat — everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

The lamb and chicken brochettes are my favorites. The Adana kebab is rich and well-seasoned, and their lavash bread is always fresh. They prepare wraps on the spot, which makes everything taste extra special.

There's always a delicious vegetarian soup on hand (I loooove pairing it with the leek + potato borek!), always delicious lattes and drinks (don't sleep on the hojicha... IMO their best non-coffee latte!), and always impeccable service! It's a real neighbourhood spot, you can see the servers all know the regulars very well, it's sweet to see :) there's also always the best music playing! in the summer, it's nice to people watch, in the winter, it's a warm refuge, windows fogged up from all the warmth and friendly chatter inside. truly a gem of a café <3 ! i love replika!“

“Definitely the best Döner in Montreal. I tried their chicken and beef wrap aswell as their beef and chicken tacos. Amazing stuff. The other turkish restaurants always end up messing with the recipes and the original taste is gone but not this restaurant. Theyre as good as the first day i tried it! The workers their are also really nice people and the service was great and fast. I definitely recommend. Delicious!“

“Very good food. We had Kebap Mixed plate, with chicken and lamb kebap and antep kebap. 3 people shared it, with another order of antep kebap, it was sufficient for us. Salad and bulgur and fries are served on the side. Soups were delicious. We had kelle paca soup. I will try the other types of soups (lentil) also on my next visit. I definitely recommend this restaurant to all people who like kebap, pide (vegetarian options available), turkish soups with both vegetarian and meat options. Very good taste, satisfaction guaranteed.“

“Food was great, staff was very friendly. Open buffet concept including deserts, fruits, coffee & tea. you also have to order something from the menu which is included in the price. Price was a little on the high side but worth it. Just make sure to load up on meat, chicken and sea food to get your money's worth and minimize carbs. nice and cozy environment, place was packed with people. Highly recommend!“
