Great beer. Big terrace. Lots of vegan choices, all labeled. The burger was really good and the grilled cheese as well.

Perfect refueling/relaxing stop after a nice long hike in the Laurentians. I had the poutine végé (vegan poutine) made with vegan gravy and vegan cheese, my first-ever experience eating poutine. I'm guessing vegan poutine is a rarity. With my lack of experience I can't compare it with common non-vegan versions, but it was delightful—genuine comfort food. Very satisfying. My other half had the burger végé—a seitan patty and a crispy-fried potato patty in a bun with lettuce, pickles, pickled onions, and a homemade creamy sauce, which came with a generous helping of kale salad with wafu dressing. I tasted his salad and it was terrific. He thoroughly enjoyed the burger, too. The beers are made on the premises and my imperial stout was outstanding. The outdoor seating was pleasant and the service excellent.

Great food and beer. Very vegetarian friendly. Cool place to eat just off the P'tit Train du Nord.

J'ai goûté le burger de seitan. Délicieux mais un peu trop cuit sur une bordure. On a remplacé le fromage par du végane pour un supplément de 1,70... Bonnes frites, bonne salade de chou et excellent service. Bien aimé la bière rousse de la microbrasserie. Je devrai retourner pour essayer le chili. Updated from previous review on 2026-05-02

This spot was a highlight of our trip through the Laurentians. A lively microbrewery with a cute café and bar with a view right into the brewery. The staff was so cool and accommodating. The menu is simple but don't be fooled - everything that came out of the kitchen was far above par. The Grilled Cheese in a variety of options is a Must Try!

After a long day of hiking and biking, all I wanted was to put a lot of calories in my body at once. I would’ve been happy with anything filling, but La Veilée delivered much more than that! Good food, good beer, good energy… a perfect end to a great day! The crackers made from the leftover mash from the beer process were weird, but addictive. They kind of reminded me of a more savory version of old-school Kashi cereal. That’s a compliment even if it doesn’t sound like one; I loved the original Kashi! I got the seitan tartare and it was really delicious. It made me kind of wish I had tried the seitan burger though, since I imagine it’s a cooked version of the same thing, and I thought it would taste great cooked as well. Next time! My (vegetarian) companion got the tempeh poutine. There’s a vegan option but we didn’t try it so I can’t speak to the cheese they’re using, but based on everything else I imagine it’s good. I swiped a clean piece of tempeh off the top and it was great! We loved all the beers we tried, but the snakebite (half beer/half cider) we got with the Pat #2 was my favorite.

We ended up staying in ste agathe 2 nights on a bike packing trip. Both night we ended up in this beautiful microbrewery. The beers were delicious; the gose was exceptional. The menu was very well thought out, specifying where they locally get every product. We will definitely make the trip back just to go back here.

This find was a gem! Excellent and delicious with fantastic service!
We sat on the patio, on a wonderful sunny Satutrday! I only have a photo of the loaded vegan nachos with a delicious, spicy, sweet potato sauce! Amazing! We ordered two salads and an amazing tempeh sandwich smothered with a house mustard sauce, along with some bbq/smokiness, was an explosion of flavours, as the menu states. All topped off with a home brewed 'lemon/basil' beer and a Seta, strawberry matcha, lemonade!
