It's the most authentic Japanese cuisine I've ever eaten in Montreal. Located on the edge of the beautiful river, its environment is very calm. The restaurant is small but the decoration is very elegant. The ingredients are very fresh and the food is delicious. The boss is very enthusiastic and always has a smile on her face. There is parking next to the restaurant, but the space may not be enough. You must call ahead to reserve meals.
We had a delicious meal of sake steamed clam, sashimi platter, egg bowl with crab meat, and unagi don with egg.The only thing amiss was that the clams were overcooked and the flavor was gone. Food out of this world. Portion are huge for the price it's amazing. Going back for sure, but next time will share. Service was slow but normal when she alone doing everything. The best in the area trust me.
