“What a gem! This small neighbourhood cafe is run by such lovely, friendly ladies. It's a pleasure to support their business. The soup, sandwiches and desserts are all delicious. I really want to try every sandwich on the menu, but I always end up ordering the same ones because I like them so much. Soups are home made and warm the body and soul. Here's the kicker, you can get a nice, big, healthy sandwich and a soup for significantly less than it would cost for a combo from McDonald's!!! No comparion! If you're in the neighbourhood check it out! You can even take your food and eat it across the street on the boardwalk overlooking the river.”
“Food out of this world. Portion are huge for the price it's amazing. Going back for sure, but next time will share. Service was slow but normal when she alone doing everything. The best in the area trust me.”
“Every time I come back. I love it a little bit more. I’ve been here a good dozen times and I always try to bring more people, and everyone I bring loves everything about the place. The staff is very kind and the food is out of this world. I won’t stop coming ”
“I've been to Le Surcouf a few times over the years, and it's always a great experience. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for an intimate meal, and the service is consistently excellent. The owner is very present, visiting tables and adding to the general atmosphere of refined bonhomie. What the menu lacks in variety, they more than make up for in quality and as a fan of French cuisine, I'm always impressed with the dishes. You really can't go wrong with any choice on the menu. This is real gem on the West Island, and must-try at least once.”
“I was honestly surprised by how good the food and service was at Delos. Our server Brandon made sure to take care of us from the second we walked in for my fiancé birthday. I think we’ll make it a routine spot to visit.”
“Great spot. Food is incredible. People are friendly. Beautiful view. Chilled vibe. Would love to see a few higher end bottles of wine however. A nice Barolo or Brunello would piar well with the menu. Order the pliées!”
“The small café resto in the heart of Ste Anne is a delightful gem with an incredible food selection. From crepes to a variety of ice cream options, including soft and hard ice cream, and gelato—there's something for everyone. Operated by a friendly Peruvian family, the place exudes warmth. It's consistently busy throughout the year, a testament to its popularity. A must-try for those seeking a diverse and delicious treat in the heart of town”
“Gorgeous campus, on the waterfront, offer dorms. Offer good services to students free access to gym and pool, some free wellbeing services, etc. The town of Ste-anne's is a happening place for the students: lots of restaurants and stores, there's a boardwalk with activities. Staff is professional, courteous, very knowledgeable teachers that give great help to students when needed. Very inclusive school. Lots of activities and clubs as well.”
“My wife and I stopped in by chance, due the fact that most of the other local restaurants were closed for the season and Cunningham’s Pup was open. We both ordered burgers and some deep fried pickles to start and everything we ordered was very well prepared and tasty. I definitely recommend the Spicy Bourbon Burger with Bacon Jam. Very satisfying burger and excellent fries. Also there was a live performance with Jeff and Kim to add to the great atmosphere. All in all we enjoyed our time at Cunningham’s Pub very much. And I think you will too. Enjoy”
“It's the owner who is also the waitress. She doesn't mince her words, she's a little crude but she knows what she wants. Her husband is the cook. Beautiful place, a little old-fashioned but it's really delicious. You can't bring your own wine, which increases the bill a little.”
“Going to Twiggs is a guarantee that you will get a smile (even behind the mask you can notice) and excellent sandwiches, no matter which one you choose. Coffee is sourced from probably the best roaster in the West Island”
“I ordered the haddock-nuggets fish tacos that came as a triplet , each heaped with creamy coleslaw. I found the flour tortillas to be warm but a bit undercooked. Also a bit pricey for tacos. The bar was very active but I drank iced Diet Pepsi. My friend had a cold beer. Lovely, renovated, crowded terrace overlooking an historic boardwalk, a marina, the river and the entrance to the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue locks. So lovely waitstaff and great ambience to one of the mist iconic restaurant-bars on the Old Ste-Anne’s Village strip.”
“The pizza was surprisingly delicious, I was pretty satisfied. The chicken burger was okay, but the patty looked like something produced by Fisher-Price. The decor is outdated but it has that good old-school diner vibe. For a nice warm meal and a beer on a cold Monday night, it hit the spot.”
“This is my favourite restaurant to go the general Tao chicken is the best but recently they but less Sauce on the chicken not as good but still delicious but Back then this was the go to ”
“The world is a better place with Bienheureux in it. Do yourself a favour, and eat here as soon as you can. Cocktails and wine list, unreal. Food, perfect every time. The experience as a whole makes your heart feel full. Thanks to the treasures Guillaume and Mario! You guys are the best!”
