“The food and service are great. Staff is attentive.
BUT the main reason I am writing this review and giving a 1 Star review for Atmosphere ( has nothing to do with the place) is to make anyone arriving by boat, to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL of the DOCK!!! It is VERY DANGEROUS. There are huge gaps every couple of feet between the planks of wood. My husband stepped back on the dock and his foot fell right through the dock!!! Needless to say he got hurt and has quite the bruise. It could have been much worse!!! Or a child could get badly injured!!! I am sure this is NOT the first incident and I highly recommend something be done to fix the dock!!!“

“AMAZING service, we came for st Jean Baptist and the service was astonishing and quick and superb. Jose was amazing always pleasant and very quick on her feet always making conversation. “Nice restaurant with comfort food and an incredible view even from the inside thanks to the large glass doors. The Le Petit Château poutine is exceptional in our opinion, but all the dishes tried were good and the portions are generous. We appreciated the cloth tablecloths and napkins and the pitcher of water on the table. Dining room only open 3 days a week, at least in winter. We had three very good visits in the last year (adult group job party, family group dinner, quiet dinner for 3).
Parking: Some pitches directly in front.
Kid-friendliness: Booster seat.
In the men's bathroom, no place to change a diaper for our little guy.“

“We took our son and wife for their b/days on Sat. Oct 4 2025. No waiting, Place clean, ambience good, waiter great. It was our 1st time and in general the food was very good,(filet mignon, done to taste, Salmon, fries ,which were dry, tasteless and cold. Frozen fries are way tastier at the fast food restaurants; McDonald's, Harveys, A+W. etc. With a restaurant of this calibre we certainly expected fresh fries. It really spoiled our dinner, as we all chose fries with our meals. It's nearly insulting. If you don't have the facilities to offer fresh fries, then just serve baked or mashed. Sorry! it really left us with a bd taste in our mouths. Will we go again??? Not so sure! Sadly! P.S the stars are not right. Overall 4 stars, Food is 4 stars, service is 5 stars and atmosphere is 5 stars“

“Very nice inside - with different sections for different moods. It also has a long bar where you can talk to just about anyone, it has a great area for quiet conversation and at the same time, it has sections for bigger groups. It offers dart leagues as well and a pool table. It is very clean, well set up with a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere.“
“This is a bar so you're in the wrong place if you're looking for a hipster brunch restaurant with ambience (and since it's a bar, sorry no children allowed). Free parking in front. Customers are mostly made up of regulars. Typical breakfast options, but the owners are flexible and accommodating. Very generous portions. Fruits are always fresh, even in the winter. The potatoes are delicious. They're not specialized for breakfasts, but my spinach and swiss cheese omelet was honestly just as good as the one I've had at novel brunch restaurants that cost twice the price.“

“Although we have enjoyed this place in the past, our last experience was challenging to say the least It's hard to enjoy a meal when wind on terrace was whipping around 30 km and tacos covered in sauce makes a messy eating experience (my own pov)“
