“What a lovely elderly couple running the restaurant and their other businesses.I have eaten here many times. From original poutine, chicken wrap, Ceasars salad, and different types of pizzas ? ?The taste is great and the best part is that it opens till late at night. So, if you get cravings, order it via Uber or call them for direct pick up.Parking: Le Cordon has its own parking lot, and it's very convenient to park in it. Since the restaurant is in the basement, just be mindful of not doing reverse parking as it throws too much inside the restaurant.“
“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! We finished the meal off with the Maple Creme Brûlée. The entire staff were friendly supportive and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in!! C’est Manifique!! Bravo!!!“
“An incredible place to have a good time. Incredible bistronomic food. Very good and affordable beer and cocktails. Chill and pleasant atmosphere. Smiling, kind and competent staff. Allow +- $100 but it's worth it (it varies depending on what you eat/drink)“
“One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Montreal! Every dish was delicious, and I really recommend the fennel salad and lemon yuzu ganache. The service was excellent, and the price was surprisingly not too high considering the restaurant’s high quality. I definitely hope to come back here again!“
“My husband and I were looking for a place to end our night and this was a Lovely speakeasy! It wasn’t as busy as we expected so made the seating much more comfortable. The ambiance was very fun and I fell in love with these neon colors as you entered.“
“Food, service, atmosphere are all perfect. I used to come here for bunch when it was still Lawrence. I feel that the new place is quite similar in many ways. Very tasty, reasonably priced, great coffee, and the apple juice is incredible. An institution in Montreal.“
“Very cozy bar, where we were able to sip our cocktails with friends. The waiter William is very pleasant and gives good advice on our drink choices. The cocktails are very good and refined. We enjoyed our time in this place, we will come back.“
“Wow, this place was incredible. Great service, super tasty food, we got the ribeye and the hot stone to cook it on was fun. Also had the albacore with wasabi vinaigrette and the pork belly skewers with bbq sauce. Delicious! The hello kitty drink was pureed magic. The complimentary hot tea was nice since it was cold and wet outside. Definitely recommend Imadake!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lou's in Pointe-Claire, and my party and I had a fantastic experience! The restaurant has a pretty cute vibe, with a dark wood interior and cozy seating. I had the beef tartare as an appetizer and it was delicious - perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. For my main dish, I tried the Pasta Genovese, and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The noodles were al dente, and the braised short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender. For dessert, I'm pretty sure I got a bread pudding, but whatever it was, it was heavenly... omg. I also got three martinis/cocktails, all were great! I will be coming back soon :)“
“Lively atmosphere and tasty food and drinks, everything prepared with love and attention. We were welcomed and made to feel like VIPs by Kip and Marie-Michelle -- two very awesome bartenders/people, but in fact everyone we interacted with on staff were simply aces. A kind of place I wish I had in my home town!“
“Been to quite a few steak houses in Montreal. With marketing, very difficult to tell the tourist trap from great food till it’s over. The Keg, has never let me down. Service is always 100%. Even with a full front of house, the kitchen has your food out in a VERY reasonable time. Fresh baked bread, great drinks, awesome prime rib, the wedge salad is perfect. Every bite shows the same temp, no black but raw in the middle. It’s shows the streak was cooked low and slow, you can’t fake that, it’s not possible. It also shows they care.“
“Beautiful speakeasy in a hidden alley with a very friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere and decor inside. The choice of cocktails is large enough without being infinite, which is very positive. I really loved the federal reserve cocktail (20 cad), and also the smoke show was nice (17 cad). I also tried the cocktail 17 (17 cad) and the 40 thieves (16 cad) all of them interesting and good. Definitely a must go in Montreal.“
“We shared a table in a Dôme on the William Gray terrace.Personal and service rated 5 starsOur waitress Maëlie deserves the first star of the evening. It also deserves the Adore mention as much as the reputation of the William Gray terrace. We will definitely come backRecommended for a great experience.Well done.Food & drinks: A 5 service on the William Gray terrace.Very nice evening and experience. The waitress Maëlie, we were privileged.“
Exceptionnel restaurant. A trés trés trés bientôt Gang. Good Job.“
“Exemplary service and a fun mix of creative cocktails. Drinks were a bit on the sweet side but were delicious. I highly recommend the Loop-garou (not pictured), which was spicy, fruity, and paired well with the goldfish they give you to nibble on.“
“It appears they opened in 2022 roughly. We’ve been walking along Ontario Street for a long time and never really got the point to enter. One afternoon we decided to go for a walk and headed in a new direction. We entered It must’ve been a few minutes after four, there were very few people inside. We realized that they had just opened their doors for the day At 4pm. They have a pretty good list of drinks cocktails and a very good beer selection. They also have a happy hour with a price reduction on select drinks. The decor is very modern, there’s something inside that makes you feel energized. The services is great, Jerome was our server, and he took very good care of us.We only went for a few drinks, but will definitely come back and try some of their food.Parking: Your best bet is taking the metro to Berri UQAM and walking over. However, if you are coming by Ca, you can probably strike up a parking on Ontario Street or Atataken.“
“Decided to eat here before a show at Place Des Arts and it was an amazing decision! wonderful and filling food and portions. excellent, kind and very quick service! will definitely be back :) The Gnocchi was amazing and so was the Margherita pizza! The lattes too. try everything!“
“All around a good spot for food and drinks. We were with a pretty big party (over 20 people) and had a nice section of the restaurant to ourselves. Service was nice and efficient with great wine selections. Will definitely revisit to try out the cocktail list!“
“Normal drinks not too fancy. The real draw is the Wednesday night hip-hop & RnB jam that packs the house. It was incredibly cool to see (I'm from Nebraska lol) the jam is very well organized. Very cool young positive atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are a musician“
“Merveilleux restaurant endroit paisible avec de bb l’excellente nourriture endroit parfait pour un anniversaire entre amis j’y ai fêté le mien le 15 mars dernier et j’ai adoré ma soirée! Les employés sont très accueillant et amicaux“
“Honestly the best japanese restaurant ive ever eaten at. The service staff was super friendly and helpfull. They recommended some plates. They were all delicious.. especially the ribs omg!!!! The restaurant is pretty small so I recommend making reservations in advance. You can eat many plates as they arent too big and you get to taste a lot of diffrent dishes. The price is very good for the quality you get. The drinks are delicious as well.HIGHLY recommend!“
“I loved the magical moody Japanese vibe of this cocktail bar located discreetly on Cathcart Street in downtown Montreal. Note 12$ underground parking i conveniently located next door! I loved my experience here, service at times was a little slow, but while you wait you absorb the cool vibe all around you so it makes up for it! Staff was friendly and the cocktails are cool! It’ an all about the VIBE at Gokudo so I highly recommend visiting this place. Put it on your list of must visit spots in Montreal. Thank you to the staff at Gokudo for making my bday memorable.“
“A colleague told me about Stem Bar and said it was good, that is a total understatement. I truly loved everything about this place. Our server was outstanding and the food, whoa! The Crudo de petoncles was heavenly. The only reason for the 4 stars on food is the burrata dish, which was my least favourite, although still good. If you have not been yet, GO! No reservations required!“
“I love this place. I’ve been several times and I’m only ever disappointed by their proclivity for natural wines. Otherwise it’s an easy can’t miss spot. The menu is constantly updated but there’s always a few staples that are worth a shot. I recommend the gnocchi and the oysters are always tops too.“
“spent an evening there with friends. First time there. Very pleasantly happy. The atmosphere was so wonderful. Not too loud. The food is great (healthy, but not too much - a bit of everything). Staff is quick and attentive, but not overbearing. So lovely - will hopefully go again.“
“Everything about this place is so vibey, perfect for a night out with friends, drink & draw events, dance nights with Dj, great drinks. Only thing is that burgers are actually small sliders, so it’s giving finger food and snacks which makes sense cuz it’s a bar. But overall highly recommended this “
“First time at the palm court for the tea experience and it did not disappoint. We did have some changes to the food due to allergies and the chef accommodated us and blew it out of the park. Everything was so fresh , so tasty. The tea was exquisite and steeped to perfection, from the sandwiches to the scones to the pastries , the flavors were exceptional. The staff was so on point, knew what they were talking about and delightful from the second you sat down to the moment you left. 10/10 would recommend.“
“For those nostalgic for good old pinballs... look no further, here is the Eldorado! A true pinball ''Museum'', it is worth the detour for any pinball lover. Around ten pinballs, some of which are really 'retro'. Relaxed atmosphere, with juke box. Good choice of beer, at a price a little high for bottled beer, but the presence of pinball easily compensates. My only problem is that these are NOT the best pinballs on the market that are available, only a few machines are really interesting... But it's still worth the detour... ;0)“
“Je tiens à exprimer ma grande satisfaction envers Sammy pour son service exceptionnel au restaurant O Noir. Sa rapidité exemplaire à prendre nos commandes et sa gentillesse tant envers nous que les autres clients ont grandement contribué à notre expérience. Un grand merci à Samy pour son professionnalisme remarquable, faisant de notre repas une expérience mémorable.“
“We reserved the back space for a birthday. Staff was great, huge selection of spirits and some St Ambroise on tap to cleanse your palette. Would definitely recommend for an enjoyable evening of sipping and company.NOTE: No food is available but they allow you to order for delivered there.“
“For those unaccustomed to crowded drinking establishments (i.e. me), the experience can be disconcerting due to the decibel level far beyond tolerable, where patrons and music s strive to bury each other under a torrent of noise. We were initially assigned two fixed stools in front of the downstream counter, amidst the hubbub. Having noted the availability of a charming little table for two in a more remote corner, I requested a transfer. I wrongly thought that we would be quieter there, but where there were fewer people, a series of speakers helped to overload the space with more sound. This morning, my poor sensitive ears made me pay for it with a sigh, an annoying reminder of the fact that with sound, just like with drinks, you have to go in moderation. On the other hand, my stomach was happy. The Henrietta bar gave him exactly what he wanted: delicious little dishes full of flavor and good cocktails, all at a relatively low price (total: $55 per person). An excellent beef tartare (my number 1 of the evening), a chicken liver mousse that my friend cleaned like you clean a jar of Nutella, popcorn with Manchego which was decimated one piece after the other and, finally, a fresh and tasty ceviche. Three of the four dishes were accompanied by thin slices of bread toasted to near perfection, crunchy on the surface, but tender in the flesh. However, their multiple presence seemed somewhat redundant to me and perhaps there was a “concept” there. My eyes weren't left out either. The presentation of the dishes was sophisticated. In addition, the dining room is clad in elegance with its white walls, globe lights and mirrors. We therefore find the same good visual taste as in the Atlantic tavern, another establishment of certain owners of the place. My friend and I naturally wanted to take advantage of the aesthetics of the place to take some portraits of ourselves, but in the dim light, our faces obviously didn't stand out so well!In short, advice to cushy gourmets like me who prefer a little peace and quiet, it would be better to go there shortly after opening, during the week, rather than at 9 p.m. on a Saturday evening (!) Despite the protest of my eardrums, I wouldn't refuse to go back in the summer season for the terrace and to taste other little delicacies: the cheese sandwich, the deviled eggs, the Portuguese sandwich, the oyster mushrooms...Vegetarian options: Eggs, salad, mushrooms...Parking: Squares all along the street. After 6 p.m. on weekends, nothing to pay.Kid-friendliness: No. We don't serve Kool-Aid.Wheelchair accessibility: If you can climb four steps!“
“Ok je n’y ai jamais été , mais avec p-o à l’animation et Vincent Descôteaux à la chronique c’est sur que je vais adorer et en plus il y’a plusieurs humoristes à son show donc ceux qui ont la chance ou qui habitent à Montréal ALLEZ-Y ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“Bar à Flot has established itself as a local spot in the Mile End, offering a mix of small plates, a varied wine list, and a comfortable ambiance. The small plates are carefully chosen to complement the wine selection, adding a culinary dimension to the experience. The wine list is designed to cater to different tastes, making it a welcoming space for both casual wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs. What distinguishes this venue is not just its offerings but also the warm atmosphere. Bar à Flot strikes a balance between chic and comfortable, making it suitable for relaxed evenings.“
“Our server was Theo. He had a table of 18 in addition to ours. He was nothing short of amazing. Restaurant is SUPER busy but is so well run you can’t help but sit back and enjoy show put on by the wait staff. The food was excellent and brought out with perfect timing Make the effort to try this place. You won’t be sorry.“
“Strong cocktails. Service was attentive at the beginning but not really after, even though it was a quiet night. Bathroom smelled but looked clean. Decor was creative. Music was hit or miss. Don't really like that 15% wasn't an option on the card “
“Wow, what a night, a Sunday. Excellent welcome, we felt welcome. A+ service. Guy is friendly, engaging, competent, we were served and advised like kings. Very interesting and excellent quality cocktail selection. Cozy atmosphere and superb decor. We will come back!“
“This place offers a fantastic environment for larger groups, with music and ambiance that are engaging without being overly loud. They're wonderfully accommodating and kid-friendly. Its central location is a plus, surrounded by ample free parking, although finding a spot might require a bit more effort on weekends. The food is exceptional; I tried the Gucci Burger, which was cooked perfectly and delicious. The staff is very friendly. I'll definitely consider it again, especially for outings with larger groups.Parking: During the weekend, one may find a spot a bit further.“
“I loved Antipode! Our server was kind and patient. We had to wait for our food but it was a reasonable amount of time. We never felt rushed. The prices are fair (they still have the 15% tip option, which is excellent). The food itself was delicious. I really loved the croque tartiflette. The sauce and caramelized onions were delicious. I would recommend you arrive slightly before 10h and start doing the line. It took a while for the second group to come in. So we were very happy to be amongst the first groups to be served for brunch.Dietary restrictions: Most items contain nuts, but it's well indicated in the menu“
“Delicious, delicious sushi (from someone who has eaten sushi all over Montreal)! We got the Smoke, Phoenix and the Flame makis + the Blossom tartare. I'm still thinking about their sushi as I'm eating my lunch the day after ? Service was excellent and the drinks were very tasty as well (Ghost 2.0 and Akira). I'm definitely returning again!“
“Amazing little spot. Was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. Service was great. I asked the server to surprise me with wines he thought I would like and all 3 glasses that I tried were stellar and unique in their own way. I’m a wine nerd so I really appreciated learning about each wine. Cheers!“
“Bevo was an enjoyable experience, cozy atmosphere, good food and drinks. Rebecca made our evening even more enjoyable because of how attentive she was, ensuring we were satisfied with our food and beverages. Thank you Rebecca and Bevi for a great evening!“
“Good foodThe food is very delicious and hygienic. The ambience is nice. This is my second visit here and must say, RBG is one of the tastiest Indian cuisine restaurant ever had.Had chana bathura, Shahi paneer, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken legs. The chana actually tastes like made with Indian recipes.I loved their service. They staff is really good. The owner is very nice and polite. Must recommend“
“Plenty of character and personality. Great drink and food selection. Super nice ambiance and staff. The most cozy of places :) look for the book of secrets! Their food is delicious, specially the tacos and I love the winter warm drinks selection specially the Grog du Plateau.Vegetarian options: Almost all dishes have a vegetarian option“
“One of the most unique and fun neighbourhood bars that I have been to in awhile. Taverne du pélican has managed to have soul and capture the strong essence of the community that mile end / plateau has to offer.Incredibly friendly staff. Wonderful place and vibes. If I lived closer, I would come here every day.“
“Love this place, best haïtien food in my neighborhood!France is amazing and generous, the food is tasty, fresh, affordable.Merci beaucoup, je recommande votre spot à tous mes amis du coin.Definitely gonna be a weekly ritual to hit a griot there.“
“Meilleur repas que j'ai mangé depuis des années. Super bons cocktails!!!On se penserait au Vietnam avec des plats frais, savoureux et colorés. Le service exceptionnel. Les serveurs-ses sont très sympathiques et de bons conseils. La salade de mangue est tellement savoureuse et belle. Vraiment une belle découverte. Nous avons adoré et très bons prix pour la qualité, le service et les portions. Merci!!!“
