I hosted my boyfriend’s 30th birthday party at Place Carmin and it was a dream! We had dinner for 24 in one of the private rooms - gorgeous room, perfect food, impeccable service. The Place Carmin team goes above and beyond. Special shout outs go to Audrey for event planning and Ben for keeping our party hydrated and happy.Vegetarian options: I’m a vegetarian and had no issues with the menu! Plenty of good options.
The food is FANTASTIC! And the staff are so lovely; attentive, but not hovering, helpful in making suggestions and genuinely friendly - you can tell how much they like what they do.I had the pasta and it was creamy and delicious.My only quibble is that the wine list skews too heavily toward French wines. We have many amazing wineries across Canada producing beautiful and complex wines that deserve a place at the table.

I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!!
