The meal was excellent for a canteen. The location was very pretty (riverside). The service was okay, but we waited at least 10 minutes before getting our meal... that's the only point that was a little disappointing, but I can understand that it was still busy. The sea/river atmosphere was very present in the dining room. I highly recommend!
This is our canteen when we pass through Saint-Anne-des-monts. All-wood construction. Rustic look. Splendid view of the river. Always nice to eat outside during the hot season and take a short walk on the sand before leaving. No table service. Central service. Nice clean toilets.
Kid-friendliness: Young children will be in a hurry to eat to go play on the beach afterwards...

To get back to the basics, the prices are pretty good for the area, we must not forget that we are in the depths of Gaspésie and that everything here is expensive, you just have to see the gas prices lol.
After that, don't expect a gourmet restaurant...
