Near to Wakefield, a great stop and eat spot if you are tired.
Amazing pizza and ice cream, at the ice shop the service was very very slow, the assistant was alone and could be the reason why, rest was all good.
A good place to have a stop and snack.

Yes the crust tastes really not good when frozen

Stopped in on a whim while driving through the area and so glad we did! The poutine was delicious and hot with tons of cheese - just what we needed on a cold winter's day!

Also had the chicken bites which were equally good.

In summer you can order fries from the caravan (La Patate à Carlo), they are really better than the frozen fries offered in winter by the pizzeria.

The pizza is good, but the crust always seems to be undercooked, so if you like your crust crispy, this isn't the place.

Service is fast if you call and pick up your order yourself.

In the summer the caravan does not offer steamed hot dogs, which is a shame. They charge extra if you ask for the sauce on the side (I've never seen that anywhere else).

In short, the value for money could be improved.

I'm sorry, but this is the worst pizza I've ever eaten. There was no sauce and the pizza tasted nothing. It's not even bacon, it's ham and almost no cheese. It tastes delicious

This review pertains to the ice cream vendor, located in the Carlo Pizza building. We arrived at 7 pm on a holiday weekend and were told, sorry we close at 7 pm. No ice cream for you. Who closes an ice cream stand at 7 pm, least of all on a holiday weekend? Seemed unnecessarily harsh and inconsiderate. In an age of routinely tapping plastic to pay for almost everything, it would be interesting to know the rationale for the cash only policy.

The burgers and poutine are my favorite here! Lots of cheese curds on the poutine.

The food here has always been pretty mediocre, but it served a purpose being so close to the park. This past year, the prices have become obscene and they still only take cash. If you're going to charge 8 dollars for soft serve, then you should accept credit cards. Save your money and stop in Gatineau instead.
