La Fournée d'Olivier, boulangerie

Today was the last test. We had been going to Fournée d'Olivier for over 5 years, we had a weakness for muffins in the morning. Unfortunately for almost a year, they are no longer like before. We know that the price of cocoa/chocolate has increased a lot and that they have tried to find a new recipe for double chocolate, but the result is not satisfactory, in our eyes (taste), nothing to do with the original recipe. The chocolate-raspberry has changed too, very little, or no raspberry compared to before. In addition, the lumps have decreased significantly.

Nice little cafe in an area where they are rarer.
I am really charmed by the atmosphere and the service, which is both attentive and courteous. Nice light for people who want to read or work on their computer.
The big plus for me... it opens "early" in the morning!

I don't know if I had a bad batch but my croissant and palmetto tasted like stale. As if the butter had been kept in the freezer for a long time and had taken on the flavor. Flat because both were very big and well made.

Very stupid staff, the bread is very different than before (very dry and tastes a lot like yeast), big cut in quantity, but increase in prices which makes no sense

I have been a loyal customer since the bakery opened several years ago. I am so disappointed with the changes. The baguette has nothing to do with the one so beloved of yesteryear. It reduced in size and taste. Same observation for the loaf and the croissants. Damage..
We really miss the Fournée before.

These are the best pastries I have eaten, not to mention all the other excellent products. I highly recommend taking a little tour there, you will not be disappointed.

The raspberry chocolatine is delicious! It should be on the menu permanently!!

Depuis quelque semaine la recette de croissant semble avoir changé. Il son un peu plus gros oui, mais moins beurré et moins croustillant avec une texture qui rappelle le pain. Très déçu de ce changement. Croissant régulier et encore plus décevant pour le croissant au fromage.

Wonderful fresh baked goods, although a bit pricy. Loved the croissants and baguette we got from here. Nice environment (a few tables available for dine-in) and friendly service.
