“Sarab has delish middle eastern food to individually take to go or to share with friends or family! It is nicely located beside Pharmaprix St Jean to pick up after your errands. I got the Shish Taouk Shawarma mixed plate where you can pick 2 salad choices. My friend ordered the wrap. Customer service was also very nice. Friendly staff and excellent service on getting our orders. Not too long of a wait and food was yummy. They offer vegetarian options of you're vegetarian. They also offer a family food combo which I'd like to try next time I go !! for west islanders, they used to be located at Fairview! Support local !!“

“While on a business trip, I was warmly welcomed by the owner, who made me feel right at home. When I mentioned that I was very hungry, he graciously made my shawarma plate extra big. The meal was exceptional, with fresh and flavorful ingredients, and the hot sauce and garlic sauce were particularly special. The hot sauce, in particular, was his grandmother's recipe. As a Korean ??that visited Lebanon and ate at Mayrig(Armenian fusion), Basterma Mano, Joseph Taouk and many other local eateries for over a month I can say that this place has traditional food as par with Lebanon. The Arak brun tastes like baladi arak from Zahlé and pairs well with kibbé and taboulé. The raboule has the perfect amount of zest and acidity. Actually for my tastes buds, it was perfect. Less bitter than what I’m used to than in the Middle East and easy to digest. If you don’t drink, please try the grillades with the fattouche. What made me remember my trip to this fantastic country ?? was the service. People are warm and know how to dance dapké later during the evening. Highly recommend this place if you feel that you need a little reminder of Lebanon or simply want good food to make your tastes buds water.“

I like to do the pluses and minuses when I comment and I have difficulty finding minuses for this place for real... I don't know, I would say the dish is not always full full and sometimes it closes a shortly before closing. But for real even if I have to do the disadvantages section, it was hard to find any, this restaurant is in the top of the best. I recommend the chicken shistaouk, the potatoes are delicious. the rice just perfect. If you have allergies to dairy products, the foods I just mentioned, you can eat them without adding any sauce or I think there is some inside, I always take them without. The guy who works there answered my questions very well on this subject and he made a customer who comes back... I've been going there for about 6 months very regularly.
