My boyfriend and I enjoy Amir - we've tried several locations across Quebec and this one, without a doubt, is the BEST Amir. Everything is fresh, warm and DELICIOUS. Not to mention the service is always kind and friendly. We come get our pita shish taouk trios probably more often than is financially responsible but, what can I say, they're just THAT good. “Every time I am in the neighborhood I order Manakish.

They are usually hot.

For some reason they seem to dry out quickly, so make sure to keep in fridge or even freeze them once at home if you won’t eat them in the next 48 hours.

A minute in the toaster bring them back to their perfect taste.

I recently tasted their fatayer (triangles with spinach), probably the best ones I tasted. They put a lot of lemon, which gives them a kick.“

“I arrived a few minutes ago to experience quality time important enough to share it with you: a friend and work colleague dear to my heart has just “paid me a whole bill” with a meal at Basha Laplaine (Place Major) consisting of a "Shish Taouk" plate & a "Brochettes" plate (it's brand new and I even believe that if I understood correctly, I am one of the first if not the first to taste)... sincerely, tender to so much so that it melts in your mouth... fresh tabbouleh that each mouthful is a treasure of flavors... decorated with 3 other salads which are really worth discovering, a nice big portion of rice, the plate of "shish taouk" remains faithfully "a must"... I am confident that the other choices are just as tasty! As the portions were very generous I did not eat everything and I brought home to share this "luxury for the palate" with my loved ones...When I arrived home, and my son saw this he began to "pick at the 2 plates"... I had some difficulty "reasoning" him to stop and leave some for my wife... easy to imagine wanting to go back soon to repeat the experience together in order to share this culinary stop which deserves to be extended to as many people as possible... “The falafel sandwich is absolutely delicious. As it is cooked in front of you (and not reheated), everything is very fresh, hot and tasty. The result is much superior to what we are served elsewhere. The shik taouk is also very, very good.

This restaurant is very clean and well maintained and the service is impeccable.
