We were a part of the tour. And this hotel sucks with ventilation. Do NOT book this hotel during may and June. Their ventilation or AC does not work. You will die sweating and de hydration

I travel a ton for work and spend a lot of time in hotels.

This is easily the nicest hotel Ive been to. The rooms are modern and updated, and theyre SO quiet.

You cant hear a thing at all. Ive stayed in rooms here next to the elevator / ice machine etc and have literally not heard a thing. There isnt any noise from the street or in the room (fridges are quiet and dont rattle).

I honestly dont mind if I get a call that I have to work overnight in Valleyfield because its so nice here. Theres even a really nice bar called Doolys thats attached to the hotel.

I havent even used the amenities yet, so this review is literally just for sleeping in the room.

Superb location, spacious, comfortable, well appointed and decorated rooms, very good service. Lunch at the restaurant was slightly laborious because the waiter was inexperienced but there was a lot of goodwill so we were understanding. I recommend!

Superb hotel. 8th floor with water view. Very quiet room. Super clean. Very comfortable bedding. Lady at reception very kind and professional. We really liked the mix of modernity and red brick of the old textile factory. Very successful.
We had lunch at the hotel restaurant. Several original choices. We have priced the Cilbir and the shakshuka. 10/10 both.

A little expensive...but it's like that everywhere
But $300.01 per night without breakfast is something to think about

Lots of aggressive roamers around who harass people but very nice hotel with a good restaurant

The newly renovated room and facilities were great, with the added bonus of an attached pub. The location by the lakeside was excellent. However, the service was disappointing—no greeting during check-in or in the morning, and no extra assistance with lost and found.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, and nice rooms. Water pressure and ventilation in the room were an issue, however. AC was set to 26C which was a little too warm with little airflow. Shower and bathroom taps had poor water pressure and the bathroom lacked a ventilation fan which wasn't pleasant.

Nice hotel, very clean, bilingual staff and interesting interior. No breakfast included, but located right beside a tim hortons.
The cleaning staff were very helpful and understanding when our child was sick and needed new bedding etc.
Our only complaint was the shower, the half glass door lets a lot of water dpray out, and the air conditioning, in our room it would not go any cooler than 24°.

Room with air conditioning on magic eye - leave for the day on a hot day and your room is a sauna when you return...if only the system provided for quick cooling, but it doesn't. The staff don't know what to say if you call them. Additionally, we had 7-8 large spiders in our room. For rooms at $300 per night, I've seen much better.
