In 2023, I had lunch at this establishment. Having never eaten spicy dishes before, I was won over by the exceptional flavor of the dish served. Since then, I have actively sought out spicy dishes and have fond memories of this meal.

I just used the place as a landmark on google, but it looks nice. That put the tune of Ludwig von 88 in my head

I don't know what to say, I'm so satisfied. The food is very very very good!
The service is excellent and very fast. It took us 1 hour to eat our starters and meals. There were 4 people and the restaurant was full, incredible!

My boyfriend brought me here because he heard the served alligator a couple years ago. It definitely wasn't on the menu, so I can't verify if that was ever true or not. I really like cajun food, but he'd never tried it before and ended up really enjoying it. I got a chicken caesar salad and a mojito, while he got the chicken & shrimp jambalaya with a side of fries.

The french fries were really good, really delicate and crispy, and the jambalaya was great. The shrimp and sausage were seasoned really well, and the vegetables weren't too overcooked or mushy. My salad tasted really nice, and I particularly enjoyed the pickled red onions and croutons. Unfortunately though, I found the dressing to be just a bit too heavy on the salad, leaving it noticeably oily in my mouth, so I didn't finish it. The chicken on top was really great, it was sliced into long strips and was very crispy and flavourful. Considering adding chicken costed about 10 dollars, I'm happy they didn't skimp on the portion size because I would've probably left hungry otherwise.
Maybe it's because I don't drink alcohol too often, but my drink kind of confused me. I did read that the mojito had tonic water instead of club soda, but the quinine taste (which i usually love) reminded me almost of fish while I drank. I considered trying to mix the drink a little to disperse the soda more evenly, but the inclusion of like, 2 whole stalks of mint made me not want to stir it up to avoid drinking a bunch of leaves. As I continued the drink I was less bothered by the flavour, as I approached the sweetener at the bottom. It wasn't terrible but the first few sips were definitely offputting.

The server we had was great, really friendly and accommodating. The interior is very cozy and the aesthetic choices made are bold and unique. The actual space inside is very small from what I can tell, and they use it well. I appreciate that the washrooms are solo with a shared sink/mirror to maximize space while still being private.

Very nice discovery for this Cajun restaurant. My shrimp with Pernod were exquisite - as were the crab fritters -, the fish and chip demon mari was more common. The attentive service was perfect. I recommend it to you

While this might be a gem for some, for me found it okay. Seating cramped in a small indoor space (terrace was closed due to rain), too dark. almost all dishes are spicy with no mention of that on the menu nor by the waiter so to my surprise paid 250$+ (tips and tax included) 2 adults and 2 kids for not so enjoyable experience.

Le meilleur restaurant cajun et définitivement le meilleur restaurant de la région. Service chaleureux, plats exquis (le poisson noirci est mon préféré). Coup de coeur assuré!

We ordered Saturday April 27, 2024. Good, but not as usual. The vegetables offered with the dishes changed...no more green beans but a mixture of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots...it was more of an Asian vegetable stir-fry, not a good match with a Creole menu... the smoked taste was no longer there either....blackened fish no longer on the menu, big disappointment and the jambalaya was much spicier than our last order. The General Lee chicken also didn't have the same subtle smoky taste as before...it lacked flavor. We are disappointed, we loved the food so much, but it's not YUM like it used to be...not bad, but nothing out of the ordinary.
