La Ferme - Brasserie Rurale offers amazing views and good beer, making it a great outing with friends, family, or lovers. The Brazilian grills during summer weekends are a big hit. The atmosphere is nice with picnic tables on the grass and patio, though shaded tables are popular. The BBQ offers tasty skewers and sausages. The only downside is chemical toilets, but they are clean and have handwashing water.
The rural and bucolic landscape offers a 360-degree view. The beer, especially the "rustic" IPA, is excellent. The only downside is that the clientele is entirely French-speaking. Playing some Québécois music, such as Patrice Michaud, Tire le coyote, Comment debord, Adamus, or Sarah Dufour, instead of uninteresting American music, would be a nice addition.
Visitors can enjoy the good beer in a superb setting and under the sun. The view is incredible, and there are plenty of tables, including those that allow dogs. On Saturdays, there is often a food truck selling tacos, which is a perfect complement to the experience.
The spot is perfect for escaping urban commotion. While the food from hired food trucks can be expensive and the portions small, guests can bring their own picnic and enjoy the scenery and the different artisanal beers, which are reasonably priced. Wheelchair accessibility may be limited, unless one has large wheel sizes.
