I would've liked to add the 5th star, but the utensils and the tables weren't properly cleaned, we went here to days in a tow during our stay at st-sauveur and both of the times it was the same thing. Although, the food was delicious and the servers were very kind and generous, they even had a kid's menu which was perfect for us since my sister's 4 years old.

One of the worst meals i have ever had. Ordered escargot appetizer and they were so overbroiled.
My main was the Carbonara and it was more like soupy Kraft dinner with fatty bacon instead of pancetta. I have never had a worse meal at a restaurant.
Service staff was great.

Good italian restaurant. Staff super nice and the ambiance was perfect outside. Although, I ordered the Arrabiata pasta and the pasta were overcooked and the sauce was okay. The pasta alla gigi were excellent though!

Sorry, but Lasagna was cold inside, and it was bland. Salmon was very good, it was described in the menu with broccoli but came with mushrooms. My daughter hates mushrooms . The pizza was very good and tasty.

Food is awful. My daughter had spaghetti bolognese which looked like it was already eaten by someone else. My food was ok at best. The surprise came when wanted to pay the bill. Was told tip is mandatory. I honestly taught it’s a joke. The waitress refused several times to run the card without tip added. I had to raise my voice so I can pay the bill. Extremely embarrassing. Will not return.

Pasta was terrible, overcooked and the saus was sweet. Written spaghetti but we were served spaghettini which is far to be the same. The cook is not Italian, it was very clear. We also saw the pizzas on other tables and they were almost dry. Only small quantities of food on the pizza. Avoid this place at all costs if you want to eat decently.

Very good food at a great price. 5$ draft beer And glasses of wine available at lunchtime. Daily specials also available. Lovely outdoor seating area with a waterfall feature. Friendly efficient staff. Very busy on nice days.

Rather disappointing visit.
We managed to get a seat out back on the terrace, which was quite nice.
I ordered a Margarita which was simply awful. So sweet, hardly any taste of tequila and tasted more like a cocktail mix from the grocery store. Garnished with a lemon…
My wife and i shared a pizza which a frozen pizza would have been better. I ordered a beer after the margarita and the beer never came. Empty margarita glass sat on the table for about 30 minutes.

When is St Sauveur going to get a decent Italian restaurant?
We had planned on going to Mo's for New Years dinner. As we walked there we passed Gio's and walked in. To our surprise we got a table. We always wanted to try Gio's. We did and will NOT return.
Great location, great look from the outside, nice staff inside. Food is awful. It has lots going for it but the food was frozen junk. My caesar salad had no taste and bacon bits. My onion soup was literally only onion soup until I paid extra for cheese and bread crumbs as they called it. My Keg frozen French onion soup at home is far better. Actually the soup tasted ok. I ordered lasagna. I have never eaten such a tight packed lasagna. The centre was frozen. What does that tell you? My bill which I could barley read (the ink must have been out of the machine), I had an extra charges for what the waitress called parmesan fondue which was more like a cold mozzarella stick, bread crumbs and cheese on my onion soup and the sad salad.
The place has potential but the food is really sub par.
By the way there were all kinds of open tables on New Years eve. We should have clued in.
Good luck.
Next place we will try will be Le Vieux Four.

We usually come in the summer so this was our first time in winter. Same excellent service as usual. The pasta dishes and pizzas are what my family loves. It was a bit tight between tables and restaurant was a bit chilly so maybe bring a warm top or shawl to cover up.
