L'Œufrier (Saint-Sauveur)

Reservation for 4 for 11am. We arrive on time, we order. After 1 hour of waiting, we see 3 tables arriving AFTER us who are served BEFORE us. After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting, we were served our dishes. We ordered 3 avocado-based sandwiches, the result: we received our dishes WITHOUT avocado. Nobody warns us! Luckily we checked! We send the dishes back asking for our order, and they send the same dishes back to us saying "we're out of avocado". And they give us the same plates!!!!! We left!!!! Already waiting more than 1 hour for 4 simple dishes and on top of that they are trying to sell us half-cooked dishes!!!!!
RUN AWAY. They really take customers for CONS.

+1h15 wait and tables arriving after us served well before us. That's a long time for avocado toast and fried eggs. 1h15 later our toast arrived without avocado... they didn't have any left but made us wait without telling us.
We went to eat elsewhere...

Evening of the Santa Claus parade, we showed up at your door without seeing the name of the restaurant, we were looking for something to eat since all the restaurants were full. The door was barred, but a nice gentleman opened the door and explained to us that you would be working later to offer drinks during the parade. We just said we wanted to eat. You still offered us to go up to the 2nd floor and we were treated to a divine meal, with attentive staff and throughout our meal we were alone up there. But what you didn't know was that I had just lost my dad and that he went to lunch at a restaurant 5 days a week. So finding myself sitting down for dinner or having lunch had great importance for me, without knowing what style of restaurant we had visited.
Thank you very much for your kindness and we will definitely return. Your smiles, your empathy were at the right time for us

Great staff: polite, friendly , accommodating and helpful. I would recommend everyone to stop in during their stay. Very cute and atmospheric along the main drag of this adorable town. Gluten free , healthy options also available as well as the traditional Canadian French treats 🥰
