I have visited this great bistro several times and am disappointed about its closure for the summer of 2021. Here's hoping for a re-opening in 2022. The Tomifobia is a veritable gem of a gastronomic hideaway in the frontier region.

Literally just metres over the US-Canada border in Canada, Le Tomifobia couldn't feel further away from the anglo world on the other side of Main St. Beautifully prepared fresh ingredients in sensible portions were a pleasant change, and my poached salmon with a lemon veloutė sauce totally delicious.

Great food - lovely atmosphere and good service. This was a homecoming event so had dinner with 10 other friends from school. It was great.

My son and I made our first cross the border trip to Canada and chose to eat at a quaint restaurant not one hundred feet from the border crossing, so small even the border officer didn't know where it was. The restaurant is a converted home, the dining area a former dining room for the home owner. My son had the salmon dinner, and his first glass of wine. I had the spicy couscous with lamb. Bread accompanied the meal, a salad and soup with dessert. We both cleaned our plates. Everyone was nice. It is not inexpensive but well worth the visit.

My family and I stumbled upon this place after riding the bike trail up along the lake up from Newport, Vermont (thankfully we remembered our passports!). Our family of five sat at a table on the porch, and our kids enjoyed the comfortable back yard playing hide and seek in the beautiful hidden garden with another couple's child while my wife and I had a drink and enjoyed some local smoked trout, duck pate and french bread. We had crepes and soup, and it was all very tasty. I appreciated the buckwheat option. The restaurant is in a home, and the entire experience felt like we were invited over for lunch by the stylish French auntie that we never knew we had! We will definitely be back and bring friends!

In the village of Beebe near Stanstead. A wonderful small indoor/outdoor bistro. Excellent food, wonderful savory or sweet crepes Bretonne, excellent service, reasonable prices! A “brigadoon”-like experience! Don’t miss it!!

A really beautiful spot with excellent food. Eat outdoors if the weather allows and make sure to sample the tea grown right on the property.

I have enjoyed the crepes I have had and am anxious to try some of the other combinations offered. There are rabbit dishes available, as are a variety of vegetarian options. The setting is quite charming, as are the staff.

This small creperie is truly wonderful. Beautiful gardens, delicious wine and absolutely marvelous food. Service was great in this home-style restaurant. We wish we didn't live so far away! Can't wait to go back. BTW husband left his hat. Proprietor happily sent it to us. Great customer service.

My partner and I went for dinner here. She had a crepe and I had the rabbit dish. We enjoyed our food and say it was good but not better than that. Perhaps a bit expensive for the quality. The dining area is cosy and the owner who was our hostess that night was very gracious and charming and definitely added positively to the experience. There was no feeling of being rushed (we and one other couple who we eventually sat with to chat were the only one's there). In summary, it was better than average but really not "really good" Like 31/2 stars.
