“Recent, short trip to Newport, Vermont. Breakfast and lunch were at the Brown Cow Restaurant. Absolutely go there if you can , just check their hours first. The people who work there are warm and friendly , the food is inexpensive and delicious and the service was good even though the place was bustling . Five stars for the Brown Cow and for Newport!”

“We just started going to Roasters after driving by for years. And boy did we MISS out. We should’ve gone years ago years. They have the BEST Homemade bread I’ve ever had. Everything being homemade makes it out of this world delicious. And the prices are way beyond reasonable. I could not believe how cheap it was for 2 breakfast sandwiches, I had to ask twice 😂 The homemade muffins and donuts are phenomenal. Everything we’ve tried has been amazing. It’s our new favorite place. We order takeout at least 2-3 times a week if not More. Thank you for having such a wonderful establishment with the nicest people working ever. Can’t wait to try something new the next time we come in.”

“This used to be my all time favorite place to eat. Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down drastically. I spent 85 dollars today and 3/4 of the food went I n the trash! The rib meat was questionable if it was spoiled. The soup was wayered down and wonton tasted spoiled! This is the 3rd and last time in 2.5 months I have been back. This breaks my heart but it is what it is!!”

“The only reason I put a 4 for the food is because they have mostly chicken recipes like chicken and broccoli. I'm personally used to Beef and broccoli. The four is based solely on my own personal opinion because I'm not a chicken type of person. The service and atmosphere were incredible however. If you like chicken I highly suggest trying it out. Other than the chicken they do have other options. I definitely recommend it.”

Too often, in the past, I have requested extra pickles on my McDouble only to find, to my dismay, one or two pickle slices lying insipidly like lone castaways, marooned on a golden island of American cheese. But not here at the Derby McDonalds. No, my good men and women of this kingdom in the northeast; here, I consistently find myself receiving five (or sometimes even six!) pickle slices blanketing my McDouble in glorious green, like a field of sweet clover in springtime! Haha! I laugh and shake my head, thankful that, despite life’s many struggles, God has mercifully put me here, near this pickle-gracious McDonald’s location. To the employees of the Derby McDonalds, never let anyone tell you that you are anything less than bright, shining stars in a world full of darkness. Keep shining your light, my friends. I see you.”
