I go there every year n it is the best ice cream around
Wonderful ice cream shop with some food and pastries. I had a 2 scoop sundae with delicious Gifford Ice cream. They have many flavors and today they had chocolate, vanilla, twist, coffee and black raspberry soft serve.

Sweet Scoops is a wonderful spot for ice cream lovers, with ample parking and picnic tables. They offer delicious flavors, including maple creemies and creamy twists, and a rewards program to work towards a free creamie. Friendly staff and shorter lines compared to other popular spots make it a great alternative. The large size is truly humongous, and prices may not reflect the size of the serving. Located in front of the school in Derby, it’s worth the trip for the best ice cream in New England. Shareable servings, outside window service, and nice people add to the experience. Be sure to get the Maple sprinkles on everything and grab extra napkins, as they are needed. They have a great selection of hard ice cream and allow customers to create their own sundaes. The waffle cones are excellent, and the consistency is always good. Parking is plentiful in the school lot, and the place is very kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible with flat surfaces up to the window from the car. Overall, Sweet Scoops is a top choice for a fun and tasty ice cream outing.
