“We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. What a beautiful meal we had with an amazing view from the open terasse. The experience was incredible. We took the 7 course tasting menu, it was one taste sensation after another. The oysters were fresh and delicious and every other course after that was spectacular and innovative. Mr. Roy showed us a great time, very professional and a delight to talk to. The service was excellent, we were treated like V.IP.’s. With plenty of extra surprises. Chef Vincent even came to our table to see how we enjoyed the meal. It was well worth the money. We will return again. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant gets booked up quickly, plenty of free parking.,”

“What an amazing dining experience. The food was a 10/10. The oyster was out of this world and the egg dish was exquisite and the wagyu beef was to die for. It melted in your mouth. Amazing service. Soufiane is a wonderful waiter. Highly recommend the 5 or 7 discovery menu. Also the service was very quick. I see people writing about the length but it was amazing compared to other restraints where I’ve been. 2 hours to the dot. We had such a lovely experience.”

“I have eaten at Le Tap Room many times and finally tried the hamburger! Normally that is something that my husband orders, but I was looking for some comfort food this time around. It was delicious - the seeded bun added to the taste and the fries were perfect. We started with the beet salad (one of my favorites) and poutine (when in Quebec) and for the main dish my friend (who I brought to Manoir Hovey for the first time) ordered the catch of the day. No disappointments! The atmosphere is just lovely (cozy) and the waitstaff so kind and attentive (as usual). Thank you!! We'll be back (soon, I hope)!”

Assiette principale Salade, brochettes de légumes et patates Grec, incluant 2 choix de viande a fondu avec 6 sorte de sauce, et j’ai terminé avec un délicieux gâteau au 3 chocolats avec petits fruits et une tisane . Excellent service les serveur et serveuse très attentionné avec de beau sourire, l’ambiance romantique et chaleureux. Pour la st Valentin c’était parfait 😍 je recommande. “Having a breakfast at Cantine du Lac is like taking a trip back in time: the basic fare of eggs and bacon may not be the fanciest or the healthiest by today’s standards, but the fast and friendly service and the authentic mid 20th century layout and decor make for a very special experience we didn’t expect to find when looking for fast affordable breakfast option that didn’t equal MacDonalds! It’s not often these days you get to walk into a place where everybody knows not only each others name, but their whole life story.”

“Institution in Magog. 50 years old Diner. Small place. Pizza, poutine, spag (traditional Quebecois dining fare) beyond reasonable pricing. Fantastic place to go with kids. Family friendly. Get there around 4:30pm it gets packed by 5:15 and quiets down around 6:15pm.”
