You should test your rooms and your bedding which are really low quality, like your mattress protectors we are not in a CHSLD... One night = 7 days of back pain more chiropractor than room.
Lack of towels: a large shower towel and three washcloths 🤔
And unfortunately it's going to get worse and worse because Quebec has abolished accommodation classifications.
Yes 😞

Bathroom with tiny shower and smells of humidity...
We can hear everyone in the nearby rooms 🙄
Small but functional room.
Wifi doesn't work for 2 weeks...
Friendly staff and simple but functional breakfast.

Today, October 19, mid-PM, we visited this inn in search of local products and postcards. I would like to leave this comment for the attention of the owners, hoping that they will take these remarks into account to improve the training of their staff.
When we arrived, we received no hello or welcome. The receptionist was absorbed in his computer, when he should have an overview of the reception and greet customers courteously. When I asked if there were toilets available I was told that they were out of order so there were no toilets for customers. My sister then asked where he was going, and he rather arrogantly replied that he had his own toilet.
The first objective of an inn is to satisfy its customers and leave them with good memories. Working in the hotel industry myself, I was disappointed by this attitude. If this gentleman doesn't enjoy his job, it should in no way affect the customers' experience. His behavior cut us off from any desire to enjoy the store, and it was obvious that our presence bothered him. So we hurried to choose our postcards and left the place quickly.
I sincerely hope that guests staying at the hostel receive better treatment. It is sad to note that this type of service can reinforce certain prejudices about the French welcome. However, I would like to reassure: there are still professionals who are passionate about their profession, who strive to offer a pleasant and warm service.

****I would like to point out, in response to your comment, that we did purchase postcards. However, the receptionist never bothered to tell us where the public toilets were and spoke to us with real arrogance.
Whether guests are staying at your hostel or just passing through your store, they deserve to be treated with respect. The staff represent the establishment, and their behavior should be taken into account, because such an attitude certainly does not make you want to return. Residing in Quebec, it is absolutely certain that I would not stay with you. I have rarely been received this way.

Lovely room, very comfortable beds and linens, well equipped kitchenette and beautiful updated bathroom. Enjoyed the boxed breakfast with hot croissant, muffin, coffee and yogurt. Sooo much better than our first nights’ accommodation. Wish we had discovered it earlier. It’s central location made it handy for exploring the whole town.

The room we had indicated "low ceiling" which is indeed the case, it was impossible to stretch without touching the ceiling. The shower is very small and the room was very humid. You could smell the damp when you entered the room. On the other hand, the beds were comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming when we went to collect our lunch box.

Beautiful location. I booked a room with a king bed, number 4. It was perfect. Small table with two rattan chairs. Fridge and microwave available, as well as Keurig coffee maker. Super comfortable bed. Beautiful view, beautiful light. Bathroom down the stairs, I found it very charming, like I was at home. AC available. Close to the marina. Lunch box: muffin, croissant, yogurt, apple juice and coffee. Nice terrace that we can use. A beautiful place, I recommend. Thank you for accommodating me to check out later. Also, I had booked for Wednesday-Thursday, but wanted Tuesday-Wednesday, luckily the hostel wasn't full.

Very nice, quiet hotel. Far from the main street that leads to the ferry. Very warm welcome.
Clean room and bathroom. Room equipped with a fridge, coffee maker.
It's a shame that there are no more catering options on site but restaurants are not far away. Breakfasts in box form, the hotel offers coffees, to be taken in the room or on the terrace.
