Motel Chantmartin

Love this place….friendly staff, super clean rooms.
Everything was great

The food was amazing. Reduced a star as they missed to keep some disposable spoons, forks, tissue papers in the parcel and finally end up eating the spaghetti by hand.

We had a great first impression. The air conditioning was already on when we entered the room, and it smelled pleasant. The floor was clean. However, when we looked closer, we noticed that some corners were not well-taken care of.

The bathroom is small but clean. The water pressure is a bit strong. We have enough space to hang clothes.

Dinner with a good choice of menu at a reasonable price. Fast service.

I only used the restaurant part.
I ate a nice plate of fried fish and very good chips.
All accompanied by a tasty sauce on the side. Good price.

The carrot and cinnamon cake 🎂 with butter cream topping is excellent... that alone is worth lunch ☺️

Great location as we were in town for a whale watching excursion and some sight sseeing. Rooms initially appeared to be neat and clean but on the second night of our stay I was up all night getting bit. I now have come to realize that it was likely bed bugs based on the bites and their trails. Definitely not worth the stay even though the restaurant there was the best in that location.

A good motel in a good location. Good value for money. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped.The bed is quite large and the bedding comfortable.The restaurant next to the motel is convenient for a quick bite.

Stopped over for 1 night on a snowmobile expedition end of Feb 2024. Was pleasantly surprised upon entering the room by the cleanliness and warmth of the room and bathrooms impeccable down to the Towel animal design reminding us of Caribbean. lolThen the BIG surprise happened in the restaurant. From my inquiries and the suggestion of our lovely attendant I ordered the Seafood Platter and Hold and Behold must have been the freshest Scallops and Shrimp and Cod Filet that i had in a long time( forgot to mention am from the east coast so freshness i know about :) )So much i had to get the attention of the owner over the breakfast the following day to congratulate his chef on the warm and delicious plate all the 4 of us enjoyed the previous night.Needless to say next time i'm around Tadoussac it will be another Pit Stop for all of us again at Chantmartin.Cheers,Yves-Hughes-Mario-Frank
