Breakfast options in this town are mostly chains, and since this is the one of the few names I recognized from Montreal, I traveled a bit outside the center to find this spot.

It’s a chill, spacious setup that serves actual plated breakfasts, not just grab and go carbs. I went with the Western Omelette and a Chocolate Pain Suisse. Despite being there right at opening, the pastry didn’t exactly taste fresh (maybe the sub-zero temps stiffened it up..?) Still acceptable, just not the warm morning stuff I was expecting.

The omelette was standard. A little flat on the fluffiness factor, but the side dish was a nice upgrade. Instead of generic home fries, they serve pomme de terre dauphinoises (cheesy potato tart). It was my first time trying it, and I liked the oven-baked golden crust and its cheesy aroma.

Awesome pastries and coffee. Chic and clean. Great staff! Serves breakfast as well, which we will take advantage of next time we are in town.

What a lovely spot! Stopped on the way back to Ontario and had an iced latte and a ham & cheese on a croissant - both delicious! Not a French speaker but the staff were patient in taking my order.

On our way back to Ontario and needed a snack, coffee, and a sweet. Saw the reviews and stopped. Great to jump on and off the highway to. Most importantly, the two ladies working were great! Very polite, professional and courteous. Hard to find people like that these days. The coffee was good, and being Italian, the latte ranks up there. The sandwiches were tasty. (I've had tasteless food before even at higher end places) Worth the stop. Thanks girls

What a beautiful café and bakery! Their selection is incredible and everything is fresh and delicious! What a great find on our trip from Québec City to Montreal! Lunch was top tier one of the best meals in two weeks in Maine and Canada! Amazing!

This amazing café, bakery, coffee shop and patisserie was a great find for my husband and I for lunch! We enjoyed chicken, bacon, cheese, pesto paninis on house made olive bread, a bowl of creamy, comforting vegetable soup, and pesto orzo salad with tiny mozzarella cheese balls, red pepper and purple onion. Yum! Everything was delicious and fresh! We wish we would have been able to enjoy a coffee drink, but alas, too late in the day for us. I did take a crisp sable' cookie for later, but the desserts and pastries were hard to resist! We wish this café were in our town in Arizona! Highly recommend you visit this gem!
