My son took the menu with the 5 courses blind. The dishes were sophisticated, refined and delicious. I had the three courses for $70, and, quite honestly, it was very, very good. The beef cheek is simply extraordinary. The price-quality ratio is more than fair. At Poivre Noir, the chef's gastronomic bar is very high, and I know what I'm talking about: I was a qualified professional chef for 6 years when I was young. The best restaurant I have had the opportunity to try in the 24 years I have been in Quebec.
Parking: Under the bridge, take the entrance on the right. There is no sign at the entrance to the parking lot, so enter the underground parking lot and find the spaces marked "Poivre Noir" somewhere on your left.

Disappointing tasting menu. We booked in advance but we had a table squeezed into a corner of the terrace, even though there were others free. Obviously reserved for regulars. Lack of light at the end of the evening. We went in August 2024. I do not recommend.

Wow! We had an exceptional evening for our family dinner. We had a private room with a view of the river, access to a large format television, all with excellent service. We have visited several restaurants in Trois-Rivières for our annual holiday dinner and in the opinion of many it is the best restaurant that we have chosen since we have been having this meeting (over 25 years!). Everything was perfect, thank you again for this beautiful evening!
