We visited this casse-croute today for the first time and found it excellent. We had really liked the purple house casse-croute in Val-David for many years but it is now closed, and most of the other restaurants in town don't have the classic casse-croute items and have VERY slow service. The club sandwich, fries, and poutine were all authentic and tasty (lots of cheese curds!), and the food was brought out to us very quickly with friendly service. I went there with my boyfriend for a hike in the area... We came across this restaurant and the poutine is excellent l The best we ate ? and what can I say about the service! They are super nice, very warm! I come from Montreal and I will definitely go back!
