Busy Wednesday night with hockey and basketball playoffs happening. I got a seat at the bar right away which was great. Soon after I received a basket of popcorn and was asked what I would like to drink. The beer I ordered was perfectly chilled and the tofu poke bowl I ate was delicious. I don't know how la Cage makes their tofu, but it's one of my favourites. Special mention to Genevieve who served me (and everyone else I think!) at the bar. Very nice experience. The food was excellent. Better than I would have thought for La Cage. I chose fish and chips with Greek salad. ?Everything was very fresh and homemade.My partner's burger was also very good, he told me. ?Meghan our waitress was super nice and her service was above average. ?We arrived around 5 p.m. so not very busy, could be different if very busy. ?
