“I was driving through Varennes when I got hungry. I stopped at this gem. The place was super clean, the service and food were on point even though the place was packed with patrons. Congratulations to the owners on running an amazing restaurant.“

“While we've been staying in Montreal, we have gotten food from this place several times. First off, this place has a vintage cozy interior with booths that look out onto the busy street. Second, the staff here is friendly, quick, and very organized. Lastly, the food is authentic and well prepared. Our favorite thing here is an all dressed steamy and the classic poutine. We really like their gravy!“

“Wow. Went for lunch here with my Boss. I always order a steamed hotdog from all the places I visit to see how the basics are. I can say that yes their hotdog is well worth the 2 dollars they sell for. The poutine I ordered was the du Chef. It was delicious. I can't wait for my next visit to try the other poutines. I recommend if you are near by or within 20 minutes away from here, it is well worth the trip. Be aware of their business hours though.“

“One of our favorite poutines in town, although a little disappointed because they often change their large poutine containers..before they were rectangular and still looked the same in quantity but yesterday they were made round and the quantity really decreased, almost half as much as usual..“

“Canada Hotdog blew me away — simple concept, amazing execution. The hotdogs are juicy, the buns are perfectly toasted, and the toppings? Next level.

And their poutines are incredible — crispy fries, rich gravy, and real cheese curds. Honestly, some of the best I’ve had and way cheaper than anywhere else. Total win.

The service was fast and friendly, and you can tell they care about quality. Great spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or craving some comfort food
