Bon voyage !

We were seated and were eating our meal when your hostess asked ys to move tables to accomodate a group! We asked to speak to the manager and the waiter explained to us they were only two on staff and no manager! This us rude and unprofessional to ask us to move for a group that didnt even have a reservation. Poor service, bad management! We are not second-class customers to the group . It has been many years since we visited the Cage and tonights' experience was wonderful. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, the service so friendly Nice! Nice to know that there is a good restaurant close by (Vaudreuil) with a downtown atmosphere. We will be back!

La Cage offers good value for money with a wide variety of menu choices and daily specials during the week. The restaurant has a large parking lot, is kid-friendly, and has direct wheelchair access. The food is very good with generous portions, and customers often appreciate the care taken in preparing dishes like poutines, with sauces separated and extras provided to prevent sogginess. The atmosphere is great for casual occasions, though service can be inconsistent, especially during busy times or when games are being shown, as the restaurant may prioritize music over game audio. Some servers are friendly and provide exceptional service, while others may lack attention to detail. Customers should note that the washrooms can be mixed, which might be uncomfortable for some. The restaurant is popular and often crowded, so reservations are recommended, especially for larger groups. The staff, including the host and manager, generally work hard to address concerns, but there can be delays in service or responses during busy hours. Overall, La Cage remains a good place for relaxed dining and entertainment, with some occasional issues that customers should be aware of.
