Always great!

The time has changed!!! I wanted to eat my first Italian poutine in my life!!!

I had the pepporoni sub , it was delicious but lacking pepperoni

This is as classic as a casse-croûte (snack shack) gets. Steamies, poutines, traditional Quebec classics being served. Place feels retro, don’t expect gourmet just expect a solid trip in the past for some Quebec comfort food.

Poutine really not good and extremely expensive.
It doesn't make sense to charge $5 for extra cheese on a $12 poutine.
Also, they charged us more than $3 for a side of hot pepper, while they gave us a small cup barely filled with banana pepper that was clearly not super fresh.
When we returned just a few minutes later to show them the peppers, they accused us of having eaten the peppers (wtf seriously?).

The poutine was nowhere near hot enough, the cheese was cold, the sauce was lukewarm and really runny at the bottom of the bowl.
The potatoes weren't even cooked enough, they were still very pale.

Last time I went there, it's excessive to have to pay almost $25 for a simple poutine with extra cheese.

I love this place for a nice smoked meat platter on the way to Montreal from Ottawa. Great, friendly staff and delicious food. Certainly a family favorite.

Disappointing

If you can get them to make you a gyro pita but to replace the gyro with smoked meat then you've got one hell of a meal.

A québécoises institution!
All classics are perfectly done. Their smoked meat sandwich was exquisite, their pogo game was strong and their poutine was good. I would had loved for the potatoes to be a bit more crispy but it was good.
