Rôtisseries Benny & Au Coq

Very disappointed ordered the 2 plates for 22$ I got a club sandwich and it was literally all bread a couple of pieces of bacon and a tiny tomato and well the chicken was sad maybe a tiny piece per piece of sandwich lol wow never again

Girl at the cash register is not friendly, no smile, shes mad I think that people don’t tip for their take out order… you come first, you leave last, their bol is atricous, very little chicken and it’s dry, no utensils, does not mention your sauce options, she should work in a prison with an attitude like that, and the food is proper for a prison environment

I HAD HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with them many times.

As its open until 10pm, and there are not many options in Verdun offering delivery, I order from there. I LOVE rotisserie chicken, and I have eaten at other Benny/ Au Coq before… this place get the orders wrong (even though I order online and everything should be pretty easy to read)

Tonight, I ordered a club sandwich for dinner and a Wrap with a cesar salad for tomorrow’s lunch, and some sausage appetizers. The price was 60$

Then the delivery person came, and all seemed fine.

When I opened my order, THERE WAS NO cesar salad (which I paid extra for!). I called the store right away, and the girl on the phone did not apologize, only said “we cannot deliver it to you but i’ll refund the extra for the salad”

Like really? Thats the bear minimum you can do. Then I looked further at my order just to realise they also DID NOT give me the cesar dressing for the wrap… (which the online site has you CHOOSE when ordering the wrap) AND NO HONEY MUSTARD for the sausage appetizer, which also is supposed to come with it.

So basically, they just dont care about reading orders even tho the website is very specific and you gotta chose options when ordering, and then when you notify them, they dont even seem to care.

Oh, my other 2 bad experiences were that they forgot the cheese on a poutine once… and never delivered my order another time (which once again I had to call the manager on a specific day in order to get a refund for an order they knew never got sent, because the system / employee are not allowed to do so)

Its a shit show. I really wish they figured it out and dis better for their customers

Waiting 35 minutes for take out when there’s only 4 people is just plain ridiculous, but getting home and opening the box to see what I paid $24 for was the breaking point!! The worst Club Sandwich I have ever seen by far!!! I mean, Come on!!! This is the last time I will ever walk into that restaurent again!!!!

They always get my orders wrong. There is always things missing. I ordered a club sandwich with white meat tonight. The club sandwich has barely any chicken in it. I asked for utensils and as always, they are missing. They also didn’t give any mayonnaise what so ever with my meal so I’m eating a dry sandwich.

Oh and the bacon is also missing from the sandwich…

This is the worst Benny & Au Coq in Montreal.

I recently visited au coq, the food is incredible. I placed an order over the phone, which I was greeted with amazing service. All was incredibly fresh! And great to the taste. I definitely will be returning!!! I highly recommend you visit!

I received my order after 1 hour amd 15 minutes of waiting the entire order was cold I had to put the food in the microwave the club sandwich I had and no bacon I almost had to call and ambulance cause I started chocking from a bone in the chicken sandwich i called the restaurant and told them i spoke to a manager he replied that's impossible i asked if he wanted to see the bone I Wil bring it to him myself he said if you come here I will have you arrested wich cost me 85$ with tip location in verdun

waited 2 hours for an order that never arrived after calling, the girl who answered me seemed stupid as "forgot" to call me to tell me that my apartment was supposedly "not accessible" to the delivery person (which is not true)

I strongly advise against it. It's a real Russian roulette, a 1 in 5 chance of actually getting what you ordered and when you return your order they are arrogant and completely unfriendly. They don't care about customer satisfaction as long as they get their salary, the rest is the least of their worries. It's a shame several years ago it wasn't like that but now it's become a real farce.

The portion of poutine was so small for $18, it's really not worth the cost. I ordered a popcorn chicken which cost me $9 and I had exactly 10 and a half pieces.... It's completely ridiculous! When I called to understand the portions, the girl told me there was nothing she could do, since I had ordered with Uber Eat...I would really like someone to explain to me how the portion was prepared by the restaurant's Cook is linked to the fact that I ordered with the restaurant or a third party. In short, first time I ordered there and it was definitely the last!
