Hidden gem in Montreal ! The food is absolutely amazing , especially the caponata here it’s my favourite thing . The ambiance is great. A 10/10 !

Very bad experience today with Basilico Pizza and Pasta. I placed an order that arrived incomplete. The instructions were not followed. When I called to report it, I was assured the rest would be delivered quickly... but nothing ever arrived. No follow-up, no reminders, zero professionalism.

To continue, the calamari I received was dripping with oil, inedible. A real disappointment from start to finish.

This was my last order from them. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

Très mauvaise expérience aujourd'hui avec Basilico Pizza and Pasta. J’ai passé une commande qui est arrivée incomplète. Les instructions n'ont pas été respectées. Quand j’ai appelé pour le signaler, on m’a assuré que le reste allait être livré rapidement… mais rien n’est jamais arrivé. Aucun suivi, aucun rappel, zéro professionnalisme. Pour continuer, les calamars que j’ai reçus étaient dégoulinants d’huile, immangeables. Une vraie déception du début à la fin. C’était ma dernière commande chez eux. Je ne recommande absolument pas ce restaurant.

The portion seemed small considering the size of the plate, but it was perfect! Long wait, disappointment for a bottle of mineral water but one of my best pasta carbonara in the Montreal area! The real Italian recipe, without cream sauce! So good!!!

Third time eating at Basilico and frankly nothing impressive. Last night when I ordered the Gorgonzola Gnocchi, I was treated to a meal that tasted just like cream and not at all like cheese. Add to that - no seasoning and we can easily understand that cream and potatoes are very soft and frankly disgusting. I suggest owners eat at their restaurant, because I find more spicy food in 80% of the "Mom & Pop", friends who invite me and in my own kitchen. A big one think about it. Captive customers, if it wasn't for the lack of options on Nuns' Island, a restaurant wouldn't be able to afford such a mediocre offer

I ordered a pizza rustica, and even after two attempts was given the wrong pizza. The final result also doesn't look appetizing, and I was very disappointed in the carelessness this time.
