We bought 2 chocolatines, and honestly it was just air and not even half of the croissant had chocolate. Very disappointing

Absolutely superb bakery. It's my go-to for all sorts of things, but I'm especially obsessed with their focaccia and their fougasse aux olives. You really can't go wrong with any of their bakery items, and the service is tremendous to boot.

However, I can't really recommend their coffee! Every time I've ordered it I've found it quite unpleasant, I don't really know why. It may be a matter of personal taste, but, with so many other cafés in the area, I wouldn't say it's worth the risk.

ADDITIONAL LIST OF GREAT BAKED GOODS I, A RANDOM INDIVIDUAL, RECOMMEND:
• Carachoc - indulgent and rich, the sprinkle of salt on top brings it all together beautifully.
• Vegan chocolate chip cookie - soft, but lightly crunchy on the inside, evidently made with high-quality chocolate.
• Pain suisse - decadent and sweet, the cream pairs beautifully with their pastry dough.
• Brownie - a classic you can't go wrong with. Really packs a punch with just how rich it is, and the hazelnuts really elevate it.
• Almond Croissant - people already sing it's praises in other reviews, you don't need to hear it from me.
• Flan - whether it's the classic, pistachio or the vanilla flan, they're all remarkably good. The custard is super silky smooth.
• Chocolate-covered madeleine - a little pricey, but super yummy. Very sweet and indulgent, while also being pillowy soft.
• Brioche Loaf- TO DIE FOR! It gets torn to shreds and devoured as soon as I get home.

And I wish to give an honourable mention to a non-baked good item: their quinoa salads. Shockingly good!
You can choose to take my recommendations to heart or not. Either way, I'm sure you'll find something you like.

Great bakery the French baguette is authentic there and the pastry quality is very good with a great dose of butter and very well knead you can see that the croissants are with lots of bubble holes which is sign of quality. I also tried the nuts bread with a delicate sour flavor due to their special flour.
I will definetly come back to try some of their cakes too. There is as well as small coffee shop at the back of the shop. The place is quite busy on weekend but the line goes quite fast

Great find in Verdun with delicious focaccia and pastries!

Amazing quality of bread and pastries and delicious coffee! The staff are helpful, the owner is friendly, and Lisa (not 100% sure of the name tho”) the barista was super positive and helped me pick the perfect coffee for my machine. I love this place. ATTENTION; their focaccias are to die for!
And when it snows or rain or even is sunny outside, sitting on their coffee bar and looking at pretty wellington is a charming plus to what is already a perfect experience !

This is a very good boulangerie located along Mont-Royal Ave East that is open from 7am to 6pm daily. They have a fair sized indoor seating area, many visitors seem to pop in for morning take-away. There was a short queue when we arrived 7.30am midweek. You'll find a nice range of mostly French style breads, tarts, pastries and bakery products. We particularly liked their quiche and almond filled croissants. Coffees served up on the day were very good as well. This seemed like a great boulangerie, one we'd like visit regularly if we lived in the area. Would gladly revisit next time in Montreal.

I like to buy the baguettes here as they are in fact very good. However, I had a terrible experience trying to buy a small lentil saladz The label said $9 while the cashier told me it was $17. I confirmed that the sticker said $9, and she told me that with tax it still comes to $17.
Last I checked, sales tax in Quebec is 15%, not 52%. Pretty sure there are consumer protections for this…

I was shocked by the way one of your employees spoke to his colleague. We are on the verge of harassment.

One of the very few best bakeries in Montréal.
I tried their pastries and sweet baked goods and they were all on point. The texture and flavor were just fantastic.
The lady at the shop was very nice and helpful. I'll go back every week to try all of their baked goods. I'm so happy to find this place!

The olive bread was dry probably two days old, the Lorraine quiche was average and the apple pastry ok. Since it was my first time , I'll look elsewhere as it's all about freshness when going to a bakery..

It got ridiculously expensive. YES you guys make good stuff but do not take adventage of your loyal customers. I used to bring you guys lots of people ... but will not anymore. A fougasse at $7 NOTHING justifies thr price for a 100g piece of bread. We took the initative to totally remove you from our daily shopping list. Good luck, with your new prices.
