Quiet and peaceful place. There are many young people preparing for exams.
There is a separate space for small children.
Nice staff.
Great coffee.
The food was less to my taste.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed one of the most delicious lattes I’ve had in a while. However, the smell of food being prepared, particularly fried oil, was a bit distracting. It would be great if the ventilation could be improved and perhaps some light aromas added to help minimize the smell. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to returning!

We dropped in for a quick breakfast. Since this is at the opposite end of Wellington from where we live, we seldom get down here. The atmosphere was welcoming, and they have a variety of seating, which looks a little chaotic at first sight. It was a cold morning, so I had a large latte and a large breakfast sandwich. The order arrived promptly and both were delicious. Anyway, we throughly enjoyed our visit and we will be back to try their Japanese dishes.

If you're looking for a homey/cozy café, this is the place.
Their japanese style food is homemade and absolutely delicious.
The seatings are diverse and creative. There is also a back area for kids with their parents.
I strongly recommend.

The flavor of the curry is great, but the aroma of the leaves wrapping is a bit strange.

I had an incredible experience at this Japanese café. The food was absolutely amazing, though the kitsune udon could use a bit more flavor in the broth as it felt a little diluted for my taste. On the other hand, the hiyashichuka was outstanding – a perfect balance of flavors. Both the coffee and matcha were top-notch as well. The owner himself came to check on us, and he was extremely kind and welcoming, which added a personal touch to the visit. I highly recommend this place for its delicious offerings and warm hospitality!

A coworker recommended this place to me because I live so close by. I now go once a week! My coworker loves their coffee, but I go for their lovely mochi and delicious onigiri (my favourite desert and my favourite snack!!). There's also a lot of cute merchandise to browse while there, the decor is charming and the staff very friendly too!

Vegetarian options: Most of their onigiri is vegetarian or pescetarian
