Nice vibe, music is calm, not too busy and the space is really clean. The coffee is great here and the croissants are a must try.

I had a chance to spend a around a couple of hours in Café Welina working on my laptop. The setting was very cozy and the Latte was pretty strong (as I like it). The price was surprisingly pretty fair. I was expecting a downtown prices. The place is pretty quiet with free Wi-Fi, so you can concentrate on what you are doing.
Next time, I should try some of the pastries. I recommend.

I work near here and I come here to grab my coffee every day not because of the coffee but because the owner( the lady who only speaks French) is really nice and knows me as I can only speak English but She knows my order that means a lot to me

She is doing a fantastic Espresso
It’s more of a 4.5 but still a great place to relax and have a good time with nice coffee and some food. We went for a Cortado, cold brew, grill cheese maple butter sandwich and a blueberry scone. Loved all of them. Definitely try the sandwich.
Service is where perhaps they can improve as the lady completely forgot our cold brew. Had to remind her after waiting for a while.
Plenty of parking outside as it’s a shared parking lot.
Definitely recommended.

Café Welina is a gem. Conveniently located in the heart of Nun's Island with ample parking and seating. Having never eaten the pastries I can't say anything but the coffee and beverages in general are great.
My only qualm is a lot of the customers... people come buy a single coffee and seem to commandeer their seating for 4-6 hours. Then like everywhere else in Nuns Island there's the occasional barrage of cyclists who come in for the free water, WiFi and seating, which I'd argue should be for paying customers only, same for the bathrooms.
The people who work there are patient, competent, kind, good-natured, friendly and compassionate and for the most part too good. Their contribution to overall experience is phenomenal and on a personal note have always been great to me and everyone else they seem to have served.
It may sound like I'm five starring all this because of a friendship I may have with people who work there but this is assuredly not the case. I don't know anyone personally, but they've been great and without exception are the heart and soul of the café

Great tea but service was hard to get...to busy for a coffee shop....it was crazy hot inside as well. No ventilation !!! No place to sit as well. Had to clean my own table...I ended up taking my tea to go and had food at diffrent place.
