I found birch water here at a reasonable price. It's an interesting little shop with many products from former USSR countries. No credit card
I bought a Napoleon cake here for my friend’s birthday last Thursday. She told me it was a tradition for her growing up, but it was impossible to find anywhere else.
The lady at Vova was incredibly kind and helpful. I don’t know much about Russian cultures but she understood exactly what I needed and she even suggested some Russian drinks for the surprise party.
When my friend saw everything, she cried because it brought back childhood memories. I tried the cake myself and was pleasantly surprised — it was absolutely delicious.
A huge thank you for helping make this day such a memorable and special moment. ❤️

I bought pastries and they were absolutely delicious and fresh. The young lady working at the counter was very helpful by bringing me a basket to get my things to my car. The shop is a little tight for space because there’s a lot of variety.

VOVA is a great place to discover and shop for European groceries in Montreal. The staff is always welcoming, and the variety of products is truly impressive—plenty of hard-to-find items and familiar favorites from across Europe. It’s clear they put care into curating their selection. The space is a bit tight due to how much they offer, and parking can be a challenge since the few street spots nearby are often taken. Still, the quality and atmosphere more than make up for it. A little gem for anyone who enjoys authentic European foods.

Cute bakery with many foreign sweets and such. Recommend trying their abricotine
I tried to call to get information on a specific brand of perrogie. Not only did the one who answered not speak French, but she did not have adequate English to provide the information. I don't know if their product are good, but knowing how to provide customer service in English is the minimum required (even if honestly in French too should be)
