I have been to felafel Yoni at 2 locations ( Atwater and Saint Viateur). I absolutely love their felafel, it is by far my favourite felafel in the city. They always use fresh ingredients. Their schug sauce adds that extra umph to their felafel sandwich. Their Limonana is so fresh and delicious! My only negative comment is they do not wear gloves when preparing your food. When I was at the Atwater location, I asked if they wear gloves while preparing the sandwiches and I was told that they wash their hands. The person preparing the sandwiches did not have her hair tied back, her hair was hanging over the food prep station. It was the first time I did not order my sandwich from felafel Yoni. Gloves are a must.

If you are looking for a snack or a meal, you have to check this place out. The food is incredibly delicious, healthy and fresh. It was the best felafel I’ve had. The personnel are friendly and courteous. I will go back soon. Try out their dessert, too.

We had the Yoni spicy all dressed falafel sandwiches at the Atwater Market. A sort of food court in the open air with shading and all. Yori at the cash was awesome. She explained everything and served us quickly. I’m a falafel aficionado. I would rather my falafels bigger or plummer. The bread needs to be softer not to break up. The spicy sauce was jalapeño based. The Middle East has plenty of spices to choses from if you know what I’m saying..?! Overall it was a mediocre dining experience. Had better. Best of luck

Been going to Falafel Yoni for the past few years, discovered it in the Mile End. They never disappoint and I am so happy to have one closer to me in Verdun. Nate is an exceptional manager, helped me get a big order ready for pick up. Was incredibly kind and helpful and the food was as good as always.

Best falafels in town and top notch establishment. Everything from the quality of food to the service you receive, you will be astonished in the most positive way. Management is on point and the staff really care. Big shoutout to Nate which is the heart and soul of this location! Definitely deserves a michelin star.
First time here and really surprised and disappointed. I kept hearing about this place and finally got a chance to try it and felt really let down. I got the falafel pita and the pita was clearly at least a day old and this really ruined the experience. The falafel started falling apart also at some point. Both the pita and the falafel were not warm and I was not impressed. I would love to say I would go back but not with this quality of food, when I know I could get a much better quality version for around the same price at Sumac.

For a $25 meal, I usually expect it to knock it out of the park. Did the pita chicken schnitzel deliver? Unfortunately, not. While the storefront and genuinely friendly service helped redeem the experience, the food itself came off as uninspired and simply inauthentic.
