I'm a local Verdunian. With the construction post I wanted to go support the resto! The taste of the food was good, well cooked, but it did take over an hour for the main to be served. The staff should stir the soup before plating as mine was pure liquid and someone else got tons of shrimps and goodies. Also the Bavette was well cooked/seasoned but I did find the dish and protein cut size and sides small given it was the most $ on the menu.
Officially on vacation mode! Kicking things off with a perfectly poured pint of McAuslan – because every great adventure starts with proper hydration. Cheers to no alarms, no emails, and questionable life choices over the next few weeks! 😬
All in all a good experience. However I must admit that one level of the cuisine was poor... I ordered nachos as a starter and I have the impression that the salsa was expired... it is sour and sparkling, then my main meal I I had a burger with bacon and there was only a slice of dry bacon... I think it's not worth the $20. However, the atmosphere was very good and the service was great.
