It was our first time and not the last, the service was excellent very friendly staff who explained every single dish served , the meat was excellent. We will be back, also it’s bring your own wine ( they have a convenient store right across ). Overall 10/10 :)

we had such an amazing time at this restaurant the food is great and most importantly the service was amazing!!
The staff were very helpful with ordering and suggesting different options. And the manager was extremely kind and gave my niece crayons and paper to colour. Definitely recommend!!

Food was amazing, everything tasted great and fresh, service was top notch, not only nice and attentive but food came out quickly despite the restaurant being full. I had made the mistake of going to another Korean bbq chain that I won't name where food took 1 hour to get to us (and we still had to grill it) and food wasn't that great, but this place was the complete opposite.

It was also my daughter's bday and they made sure to make her feel special.

Will definitely come back!

This place was great a few years ago. But it has been going down hill since last year. Also the old lady serving us was passive aggressive. Thumbs down :(

We rolled in with less than 10 minutes before last call (basically expecting to eat air for dinner) and instead got welcomed like it was no big deal. Ricky, our server, was so patient and kind. He gave us extra time, checked in often, and never once made us feel like a burden. Honestly, he saved us from being full-on hangry monsters.

The food? Amazing. The udon deserves a standing ovation. And since it was last call, they even let us bring left overs so nothing went to waste (not their everyday policy, but a thoughtful, food-conscious move that worked perfectly for everyone).

What I really liked was how they adjusted depending on the situation. A few people even arrived later than us, and the staff still made it work. It’s clear that if you show up polite and understanding, they meet you with the same energy.

Cozy vibe, perfect little jazz music at the right volume, and service that turned a chaotic rainy night into one of the best evenings I’ve had in a while. 100% recommend (and next time, I swear I’ll get there on time).

Update: We came here again tonight and we were very disappointed, would NEVER be back.

Be aware of the “chef choice” option, it feels very scammy.

We arrived at 8:30 pm and they said last call is at 8:45 pm (restaurant close at 10) so they offered us a “chef choice” deal, which means to order everything on the menu and we can take home the leftovers. Sounds nice at first.

Long story short: we paid for 2 person $115 including tax & tip with only 1 portion of food.
We were allowed 01 round only, not allowed to order more meat so that was very little amount of meat.- ex: 3 pieces of shrimp, 3 pieces of pork belly (picture below), 3 pieces of squid, 2 spring rolls, 2 Takoyaki, 1 bibimbap, 1 ramyun, etc.. everything EXACTLY the amount of ONE person on the menu.

When asked, a waitress said that the chef knows there are 2 ppl eating so he decided that was the amount of 2 person food. Then another waiter said that was the amount of 1 person food because of the “chef choice” deal, and because we already got their whole menu. Okay!?

Would you go to an AYCE place to order the whole menu with all rice and noodle, side dishes, with 3 pieces of beef or pork that we wanted to eat at the beginning? :) we understand that it wasn’t AYCE anymore, but why do we still have to pay for the price of AYCE?

The restaurant themselves are confused about their deal, and if we know we would get so little amount of food having to paid full price for 2, only allowed 1 round, we would have come back another time when the kitchen is open and we could just order regularly.

The service was not attentive too, even tho it was a very quiet Wednesday night. We had to remind them many little things to bring dipping sauces, lettuce, no kimchi from a Korean restaurant, they did not replace the very burnt grilling pan once.

The waiter was very nice and apologetic for the miscommunication and offered us a dessert on him but we feel bad for him, it was just a very weird deal from the restaurant.

With $115 we could easily had a blast at daldongnae or gyubee, not worth the money eating the whole sad menu.

I came here to eat alone and had a great experience! Everyone is so so kind, the owner, the staffs. The owner is Korean so food is very authentic. Will be back with my husband!

We went on a Saturday night. The food was good, but the overall experience was unpleasant. The restaurant was clearly understaffed. A lot of our orders were missing. In between batches, my friends and I were waiting on empty table for half an hour. The staff were sooo busy. We asked at least 5 times if our order were still coming, every time they said yes. In the end we waited so long that we weren't hungry anymore, just wanted to finish the experience. For this price range, there are lots of other choices.

The wife and I misread the closing hours and showed up at 9pm on a thursday night. We found out on arrival that the kitchen’s last call would be at 9:15 - not ideal for a BYOB AYCE experience…EXCEPT our server Ricky took the time to explain in detail how the chef could prepare a full course tasting menu and they could extend the kitchen’s closing time by an extra 15min (we pushed it to 25min, but it didn’t seem like too big of a deal). All in all we were very happy that we decided to stay and got to taste basically the whole menu, even if that last-call curated menu is a bit carb heavy. Big thanks to Ricky for his patience and understanding, and of course thank you to the kitchen staff for sticking around a few minutes longer for us!
