Went for a coffee to-go and ended up staying for the grilled cheese. Both the coffee and the grilled cheese were delicious, and we enjoyed them on the terrace at the back on a nice sunny morning. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the service was excellent. Can't wait to come back on a weekend to try their brunch menu!

Such a bizarre experience here. The vibe/atmosphere wasn't very good or cozy going, this would have been fine if the service hadn't turned out to be so poor.
While the workers were nice, it was as if no one had any idea what they were doing, and since the little kitchen area is open you could tell there was 0 organization. It was hard to watch them make the food because of that. We waited at least an hour for food even though the place was basically empty.
I had the shakshouka and it was actually quite good. I ordered a house lemonade at the same time as I ordered the meal, but it came way after I ever finished eating. It tasted like sweet water, barely lemon-y at all.
This experience was a mess I wouldn't come back or recommend this place to friends.

I stopped by the other day to get some coffee during my workday. 🏃 The first thing that catches your eye is the good interior, which lends itself to a pleasant time. ✨ It's cozy and comfortable here. The staff speaks two languages - English and French, which is very convenient. 🗣️ And, of course, they have excellent coffee and interesting, delicious pastries! 😋🥐 I recommend La Base Café Buvette to anyone who wants to enjoy good coffee in a pleasant setting. 👍

As soon as I entered, the smell of freshly baked goods invaded my nose and instantly made me feel at home. The service was fantastic and the food is beautifully served and delicious! Their coffee is top quality too! If ever you’re in the mood for a quick bite or need a nice place to study, this place is absolutely worth it!

Delicious custard and jam, the pancakes themselves were not fluffy and jiggly like japanese pancakes but more dry like shortcake or scones. The coffee and matcha is very good, very nice staff :)
