I wouldn’t consider myself the most Khmer person by any means, but ever since I could comprehend it, I’ve been raised around Khmer culture and food, and I can say with 100% certainty that this was the best cambodian food I’ve ever had in my entire life. The squid is genuinely phenomenal, and their sauce is something out of this world. I am not exaggerating whatsoever when I say that meals like the one I had at Les Street Monkeys give me faith in a divine creator.
Great food, service and ambiance at this restaurant! I had the stir-fry vegetables and chicken skewers. Both were delicious with an a lot of ginger and garlic. Make sure to get the sticky rice to capture all of the sauce.

I had high expectations after hearing great things about this place, but unfortunately, it really didn’t live up to the hype. The food lacked flavor and was overly oily, which made the experience underwhelming (the beef sausage notably did not taste good!!!) We tried four different dishes between the two of us, and sadly, none was good—except for the papaya salad, which was just okay. Maybe we were just unlucky, but overall not good :( and very small portions for the price! Do not recommend.
