I came here many times and it was never great, but since it's convenient, I kept coming back. I have recently came again after a year, and it was a total disappointment when it comes to food. Although the service was great and the place was kept tidy and cozy, the food was terrible. We got 2 eggs Benedict plates, with parmesan and truffle oil potatoes on one and grated cheese potatoes on the other. There was no sign of truffle there, except the extra charge. I believe they just mixed olive oil with some truffle salt, but I initially thought they forgot it all together. Well they confirmed they did not, so I just had an oily mess on my plate with 2 sad pieces of parmesan. For the eggs, I had some sprinkles of bacon and way too much onion. As for the cheese potatoes, they were completely tasteless. Overall the food was just so bad, it made me really sad when our bill was over 65$. Their prices are so disproportional to the food quality it's just sad. You will get a much better meal at higher end brunch for the same price.

Had a bad experience with them ordering through uber eats, food was all mixed together and not good. Seems like a packaging issue, but yeah, Nutella was on the eggs and potatoes so I wasn’t able to eat it. Bananas had also gone bad. Could be different eating there in person.

I used to like this place, but unfortunately won’t be coming back there. Takes a lot to make me write a comment. A nice waitress usually greets us, but today we went earlier and were greeted by someone else who I believe is the manager. Very condescending attitude to start and extremely poor customer service. Couldn’t care less about their customer liking their food. Makes the whole experience bad when someone is rude like him. He even ruthlessly told a man not to sit at a table near the entrance while he was waiting for an order while the restaurant was almost empty. Loved the potatoes though.
Really good food, but beware- what’s with the constant upselling and not telling the customer you’re paying extra for things? They casually slip in brioche as a bread choice which is $2.50 extra.. they casually ask if you want to add cheese which is also extra. I’m not here to complain about a measly $3, but srs it’s kinda shady when you couple the extras with the standard breakfast choices.

L’Œufrier in Verdun has become one of my favorite brunch spots. I’ve been a few times and it’s always a hit. This time I had Le Gufrier, tasty, well-portioned, and just right. The menu has a playful twist without being over the top. Service was friendly and welcoming, and I love the simple, cozy vibe of the place. Always feels like a good choice.

!!Found Bacon in my vegetarian dish!! Walking in it felt warm and hostess was really nice. We ordered vegetarian brunch options and while I was eating I found a piece of bacon in my food. I felt disappointed in the quality control in the kitchen. If meat can make its way to the table in a vegetarian dish then it is also highly probable that there is also cross mixing of meat and vegetarian stuff in the kitchen. But the waitress and manager accepted their mistake and apologized. They replaced my dish and wrote it off my check. On the other hand, the ambiance is generally really good. The food is also delicious but I was disappointed on the quality control.

I ordered two Lily Gourmande combos today on Uber Eats and in the description it says that it is made with bacon and sausage. Here's what they sent me: not only was it cold, but they forgot the bacon and sausage in both! Amazing. I could have made do with the rest, but the quality of the ingredients is poor. Everything will go in the trash. Very disappointed.
