Incredible staff and location.
Love the old school design and fairly priced food. Great place to come get a bite to eat with some buddies.

Ordered house ice tea and the pancakes, paid extra for the strawberry toppings.

The tea was extremely sweet and the pancakes were quite ordinary and nothing I couldn't make at home with store-bought pancake mix. I was surprised to find that the strawberries I paid extra for were frozen and not fresh. I got 3-4 strawberries for the price of a full bag of frozen strawberries.

Left well fed but regretting the visit for the quality and price of the food. Staff was super attentive and friendly!

I had been looking forward to trying Millmans for a long time, given its reputation in Montreal. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The food was subpar at best, and the restaurant felt more like a glorified diner with the price point of a proper brunch spot.

I was especially excited about the pancakes, which turned out to be the biggest disappointment. Marketed as fluffy, they were dense and bread-like, lacking both texture and flavor. The homemade jam (hyped up by the waitress) was equally underwhelming.

Overall, a very disappointing visit. I won’t be returning.

Extremely friendly service, but the food is ordinary, nothing to write home about, and we had their famous pancakes.

It used to be my fave breakfast spot of all. I was a regular since the opening and went a few times this summer. Unfortunately, everything about it is going down. The food is very fat and not better than a breakfast at any Allô mon Coco etc. Not enough fruits and they taste water. Eggs over cooked, cold toasts and pancakes (they used to be delicious) and good luck if you want to warm up your coffee (the only decent thing). The service is extremely slow and not reliable. Plus, it’s very expensive. It’s totally overpriced and overrated. Time to move on. Josée Truchon

Wow talk about deliciousness, I’m almost upset I didn’t go for breakfast here every morning during my visit. But I’ll correct that mistake next time! Go and get the bacon and pancakes!

We had high hopes about this place based off Instagram and TikTok mentions but it was very mid. The blt and breakfast sandwich were smothered in some mayo type sauce, the bread was barely toasted, and the bacon was undercooked where it just felt like flabby ham.

The fried chicken had a nice crisp and was cooked well but they didn’t season it at all, not even salt and pepper. The pancakes were good and I’m not a huge fan to begin with but even a sprinkle of salt on them would have elevated it. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming but the food sadly fell short for us.

A bit pricey for small quantity, but thick bacon and fluffy pancakes.

We waited 20 minutes after being sat and no one coming to see us despite a relatively empty restaurant, so I walked to the counter to ask if we were supposed to order there. The young lady at the register was lovely and sent us the waiter who hadn’t noticed our arrival. He proceeded to blandly apologize and have a cold and uninterested attitude the entirety of the service. The food arrived quickly, the chicken sandwich was very good, but the pancakes were flavourless fluff, strangely salty, and slapped on top was a mulch of melted frozen strawberries and sugar (the homemade jam).
Overall, service left to be desired depending on the staff, the food and coffee was meh but alright (I’d skip the pancakes), the atmosphere was very nice and the food arrived quickly!

Good brunch place, classic bacon and eggs breakfast you can find everywhere else. My only beef and the reason for 3 stars is that 23$ for a couple eggs and two slices of bacon is just too much.

The place, the food, the staff 100% recommend. Plus, you can see every plate being done in the kitchen which is pretty cool l

Millmans is the little fancy neighborhood dinette that keeps giving. This is where you get the absolute best, generous breakfast (try their sandwiches, or pancakes with fresh jam) paired with the worst, yet endearing coffee.

I love going there early with my partner, it reminds me of the Formica and chrome diners of yore, but with modern twist.

And yes, the skillet potatoes are ALWAYS worth the extra. You won't regret it.

Have gone several times, the tuna melt is the best I have ever eaten, but the service is just bad. All servers are friendly, but it’s poorly organized. There is always a long wait for tables simply because they’re slow to clean them. The food though - very good. A simple solution would be to have people pay up front like st Lo and actually have some bus staff to turnover the tables. You can wait 45 minutes to be seated simply because of disorganization.

My husband and I used to like going here for the occasional breakfast. We recently went for lunch and I was flabbergasted by the prices for the very simply fare that was served. We got a BLT (no sides), a grilled cheese (again, no sides) and a single Caesar salad to share, plus two iced teas. They were fine, unremarkable. It came to over $80.
We love some good, simple diner food, but for its quality and the price, it’s simply not worth it.
