Just arrived in Montreal, friends told me to come here so me and my girlfriends came. The place is nice (but the thing they wash the counter with smells of mildew and super harsh chemical perfume). The prices are ok, the food is wonderful. But the service. Oh, the service. Where do I begin?
I asked to get the manager or owner info to send this in private, but the bar people refused. That's why I'm doing this here.
There is a barmaid with long long brown hair who seems way more interested in her phone than to serve clients. I even saw a man come in, order a beer, and leave 20 minutes after because she was on phone and never bothered to bring the beverage.
My girlfriends and I stayed 3 hours. We had 3 drinks each. We wanted more, but the 3 bartenders were unresponsive. It took one of them 10 minutes just to say hello! In my country, just that would get me fired.
We were not that many its just that it seems that bar doesn't care about patrons.
But don't worry, we went to Benelux afterwards and we got wonderful service: in 30 seconds we had a smile and a welcome. 5 minutes our drinks were in front of us. They even had smiles and were friendly! Go to Benelux instead.
Actually, maybe they owner could consider having his staff trained there, because it seems they just get anyone off the streets and put them there.... A huge disappointment.

Very casual neighbourhood pub. Perfect for drink with friends or a casual date. Drinks are good and relatively cheap, slightly cheaper than most places. They have a nice little terrase on the roof which is usually quiet and a good place to have a conversation. Overall, if you are looking for a casual, chill place to have a drink and you are in the Verdun area, I would highly recommend it.

They have a variety of beers and drinks/cocktails, the food is average, the ambiance and atmosphere is remarkable as they have to play pool in the back, jenga and some board games, it is a nice place to go with friends and play and have a couple of drinks in a relaxed environment. Best thing is the name the church, so you can literally tell your family/relatives/friends that you will be going for a few hours to the church!
