Everything was INSANE! Every ingredient used was thought and the quality was insane! Each dish was explained with details of the techniques used and where did the products come from. It was crazy! We had two from the classique: the KNISH ; the cured mackerel on a sesame bun I.N.S.A.N.E it was soooo good! Like each flavour was perfectly balanced and everything came through! Third was the beef tartare! CRAZY! So fresh, herby, lemon, with the perfect garlicky well toasted sourdough! With ANCHOVIES! In a really comforting way it satisfied my PIZZA CRAVING! And the last was QUEBEC LAMB two ways. The first was lamb belly sandwiched and seared with black trumpet and there was the T bone equivalent of the lamb all served with sautéed greens topped with a pine nut+raisin+capers gremlot and a red wine jus! This whole experience was amazing and I am SO GRATEFUL! It was truly a WORK OF ART!

The worst restaurant in Montreal! Well deserved! Not a single dish passed the test. Really off-putting 🤮 1. The water cup smelled bad. After changing the cup, the smell still smelled so bad that I didn’t dare to drink water afterwards. 2. Pie grease has a rotten smell 3. The fish meat is full of fishy smell and tastes terrible. 4. A half-finished octopus without seasoning 5. The inside of the guinea fowl was completely undercooked and the soup was very salty, making it inedible in the end.

The restaurant is very cold. We were seated next to the entrance so every time someone came in or out, it was super cold… not a very pleasant experience. The food was okay. I was impressed by the fois gras in the dates, very creative! But the pasta and flan were a bit disappointing…

Quiant little French restaurant in Verdun which services rustic Quebecois dishes. Recommend the Mackeral and Knish. Some of the dishes like empanadas and pastas appear to be seasonal so be sure to check menu in advance. Restaurant is small and lively, reservations are highly recommend.

What a great discovery. We had never heard of this restaurant before. I started from a list of the best restaurants in Canada by chance. It's very small and intimate. All the employees were absolutely great, obviously I'm giving a shout-out to Antoine our server, the only one whose name I know. A super extroverted guy you feel his passion in your gut but very well balanced, and I think that's important when you go to eat in a restaurant like that. His recommendations were spot on, our favorite dishes the mackerel obviously, the Japanese sounding mushroom thing (look it up!), the squash dumpling styles. When we got to the pork we were less hungry but it was still a really good choice. Next time I'm going to try the fish, honestly I don't know is it a Portuguese inspired restaurant? No freaking idea. But everything we ate was excellent, as were the wine choices. Excellent service, not just Antoine but all the supporting staff too. We agree, we don't know all your names, but what a great job and a great restaurant, we're going to come back and see you that's for sure.
