From the very first moment, the place gives off a warm and welcoming vibe — clean, cozy, and filled with that delicious aroma that instantly makes you hungry and curious to try everything.
We ordered a few dishes, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best Vietnamese food experiences we’ve had in Montreal. The flavors were perfectly balanced — tasty, authentic, and clearly prepared with care. The portions are generous (you definitely won’t leave hungry!), and the prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity they offer.
My husband ordered the beef pho, and I have to mention that it was the first time he ever finished an entire bowl — and that’s saying something, since he almost never eats meat! I tried a few bites too, and it was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, great texture, and a comforting broth that felt homemade.
Without a doubt, I Am Pho just gained a couple of loyal new customers. When food is made with passion and respect for the craft, you can taste it in every bite. This place is a hidden gem in Verdun that deserves all the praise it can get.

Broth is way too salty and the grilled chicken was dry, flavourless and overcooked. The women next to me ordered the short rib pho and it was so tough she couldn't eat it in the bowl, she had to get a plate and pull it out of her soup so she could cut the meat off the bone and into pieces to put back in her soup. It's also pretty ugly inside.

Unfortunately the pho broth was very light, there was not much flavour to the standard raw beef soup.

The portions were generous, with plenty of noodles and tender slices of beef. The fresh herbs and lime on the side made everything even more refreshing.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the service was quick even though the place was quite busy. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size.

This by far the best Vietnamese / pho restaurant I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many! I used to joke that a great pho restaurant should have a number in the name, but this particular “I Am Pho” location completely shattered my preconceived notion with their amazing tasting pho and variety of side dishes that hits the spot in every way! We came with our 18month old baby and the service was impeccable even with our baby in tow! She had an amazing time too! Would highly recommend this I Am Pho location, absolutely delicious & wonderful experience above all!
