This was my best dining experience for typical Mexican dishes. Especially their sauce was just perfect. The price of the dishes is 100% truly the best Mexican restaurant in the entire province. Go try it as soon as possible!

Amazing authentic Mexican restaurant in Verdun! Both drinks and the food were amazing. We were happily impressed by the ceviche, and their tacos (especially the lamb ones) are to die for. Of course we got margaritas and they did not disappoint!

I visited El Sabor de México on a weekday, and even though I made a reservation, it wasn’t busy at all—a pleasant surprise! We got to choose our table and loved the cozy nooks by the windows, so naturally, we picked one of those.

This restaurant truly impressed me. They offer a wide variety of tacos with great options for everyone. We tried both soups on the menu, and they were absolutely delicious. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we opted for the taco platter, which was an excellent deal. I had the barbacoa “tacos” I wouldn’t really call them
Tacos they were more like flautas, but they were fantastic.

The service was exceptional! Attentive and friendly staff who made the experience even better. They also have a $50 set menu that I can’t wait to go back and try!

If you’re in the Verdun area, El Sabor de México is a must-try!

Great authentic Mexican restaurant in Verdun. Drinks are flavourful, highly recommend trying the Paloma and the Sweet Anita Sour. Service/staff very friendly. Food was yummy, especially the Al Pastor tacos. The guacamole was very tasty as well. Will go back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Sabor de México to celebrate my birthday, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm and inviting, even having English menus, setting the tone for a fantastic evening!

We started with the chef's special, which consisted of perfectly crispy mini chicken taquitos. They were a delightful introduction to the meal, offering a blend of textures and bold flavors. Next, we savored their citrus-fresh ceviche, which was light, zesty, and bursting with freshness—a true testament to the kitchen's mastery of balance.

For the main course, we decided to share a variety of their entrees, and while everything was outstanding, the Tacos de Birria were hands-down my favorite! The tender meat, flavorful consommé, and perfectly spiced toppings were a match made in culinary heaven. To complement the feast, we enjoyed their mojitos, which were some of the freshest I’ve ever had.

Overall, the food was vibrant, authentic, and full of personality. Whether it’s for a special occasion or simply to indulge in incredible Mexican cuisine, El Sabor de México is a must-visit. I can't wait to return!

The food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. Special mention for the habanero hot sauce, which is great. The cocktails are also delicious. On the other hand, the portions are really too small for the price charged. Everyone at the table was still hungry after their meal. It's quite disappointing for the price paid. There are several other restaurants of the same style that offer better value for money in the area.

Very, very expensive for what it is. You get a very small meal for at least $20 with taxes. It's good though.
