Sweet Lee’s is a cozy European-style café and bakery in Verdun that feels both welcoming and thoughtfully designed. The space is bright, recently renovated, and filled with natural light, with plenty of comfortable seating. It works well whether you’re meeting a friend, taking a break during a walk on Wellington, or spending some quiet time with a laptop.

Their menu offers a nice variety of baked goods, fresh bread, sandwiches, and desserts. The pastries are well-made and consistently good, and the coffee is solid and enjoyable. It’s the kind of place where you can actually taste the care put into the food rather than just admire it on Instagram.

The staff are generally friendly and helpful, though service can occasionally be a bit slow during busy hours. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but that’s fairly standard for cafés in this area and feels reasonable given the quality and atmosphere.

Overall, Sweet Lee’s is a charming neighborhood spot with good coffee, tasty pastries, and a calm, pleasant vibe. It’s not trying to be flashy, and that’s exactly why it works. A lovely place to stop, sit, and slow down for a while.

Excellent choice and delicious pastries that stand out from what is generally offered. On the other hand, it's more expensive than elsewhere and the service is epically slow! Without exception on each of my visits the service was ridiculously long that it was one person before me or more. You really need to plan according to the time you have.

Ive been coming here since they first opened (back when cafe saint henri was in the same space). Idk what happened but they kinda changed over the past few weeks, music is way too loud, poor quality food, etc etc.

went only once, their cheesecake was super disappointing: it was old, stale and probably one day before growing mold

The service was fast and the ambience was on point. Recommend for a rendezvous 😉

Our order was forgotten, it took 4 remindings and no apologies! The chai latte and hot chocolate were average at best

nice cozy spot , been at this place couple of times when in montreal. the only thing is this time i tried the green tea , and it was very bitter strong , i wasnt told that the pod was left inside , since the tea vase is darked and closed up , also its not writing that its Moroccan green tea, so you can imagine the bitterness after 5 minutes

Not worth the money. The Filtered coffee is bland and boring and their almond croissants are discussing. Underbaked, soggy squished bread with artificial flavouring. No soft or crunchy texture you expect from a croissant.

Very cute little bakery! The employees were very sweet. However, the food I got was pretty mid, especially for the price...

Ordered a carrot cake for my mother in laws birthday. It was beautiful. But sadly the absolute worst carrot cake I’ve ever eaten in my life.
The icing tasted like a pound of pure salted butter. I’m a butter lover, I love icing and this was just not edible. Never encountered an icing I wasn’t down to eat before but here it is. Just pure chilled salted butter.
The cake was dry and lacked carrots lol A CARROT CAKE WITHOUT CARROT. Cream cheese icing WITHOUT CREAM CHEESE. We felt like there must have been a mistake so we called the bakery and were asked to bring it back to they could take a look.
We waited and waited once we were there, told the owner would be with us shortly. Waited some more only to eventually be told SHE WASNT EVEN THERE. What kind of charade is this?? Furthermore, they said to leave the cake with them so they could evaluate only to call us back to affirm nothing was wrong with their carrotless butter cake and say all the staff ate it and had no problem. THE KEPT IT, ATE IT, were extremely rude to us and then literally late me foot the full bill for this terrible cake that they ultimately ate. LOL
Honestly have to laugh because it’s so ridiculous but please save yourselves and your arteries from this piece of cold butter on dry mystery cake with a side of sass from an owner who clearly doesn’t give a damn.
Cheers!

Very disapointing. It used to be great quality homestyle bakery goods, but the menu and quality has completely changed since the ownership change. Very ordinary low quality pastries and bakery, often undercooked soft dough and pastries are too sweet and completely inadequate proportions and quality, not at all comparable to the actual french partry it tries to emulate.

I really liked the vibe here, the prices were a little expensive thought.
