First time trying Peruvian food and was positively happy. Service was great and they took the time to suggest us different dishes. The Ceviche are excellent!

This family owned Peruvian restaurant offers the flavors from Peru, and caters to Canadian tastes. We frequently go there when we are in Verdim. We have tried half the menu items and all were delicious.

Nice family restaurant. I ordered Anticuchos - super tasty, nicely presented, you can tell the food was made with care. Thank to the staff for the warm service.

Don't trust the high reviews. Went there with my family to try their dishes based on the good reviews and we were highly disappointed. Food did not taste anything particular which I did not expect from a Peruvian restaurant. Presentation was awfull. My mom got the chicken and potatoes and it was submerged in a yellow sauce.
But the service that day was the worst, we felt like they wanted us to go as the server came several times asking us if we were we're finished when we were not at all. It was a bit of pressure when most of the tables on our side were still empty.
I am not sure I will come back

Was a bit more expensive than I expected and there were a lot of green peas that wasn't on the menu, definitely get the chicha!

Excellent food and service. The staff are always very kind, and I feel like they all genuinely care about the quality of your experience. The food has a particularly strong fresh + simple foundation, yet beautifully combined with a hint of complex flavors. I'll always come back to this fine establishment.

I went with my family last week, we ordered the one with anticuchos, causa, ceviche (i think it was la ronda marina) i had high expectations but the food was tasteless and horrible
I had the worst causa that I’ve ever eaten. It didn’t taste the aji amarillo and I think they use yellow colorante idk.
The ceviche was horrible, think I can prepare it better lol. No spicy and it tasted just lemon and ginger.
The anticuchos, lack of spices, horrible, the marinade was tasteless.
Tbh, idk why people still reviewing with 5 or 4 starts, i want to believe that they are from here that never had real peruvian food and I understand that many of the costumers are from Quebec and they are not usually eat spicy food but the restaurant should keep the original recipe.

Food was great, but the service is very disorganized. Someone will get their food and then everyone else will wait another 30min before they get theirs. People are nice though. Waited longer for the salad than the grilled chicken.

Probably one of the worst Peruvian ceviches I’ve ever had.
As a Peruvian, I was deeply disappointed by this place, especially since it’s supposed to showcase one of our most iconic dishes — ceviche.
The dish was overwhelmed by acidic lime juice that tasted like it came from a bottle, not fresh fruit. The sweet potatoes were so mushy and flavorless, they felt more like purée than a proper side. I even had to ask for salt — which is a sin for any Peruvian dish.
I understand that sourcing authentic ingredients can be a challenge abroad, but that’s no excuse for the lack of care and balance in the preparation. The chef (who I hope knows our 🇵🇪 traditions) needs to put more love into honoring our cuisine — like Barranco, Tiradito, and Lima 41 are already doing.
